Noticed that pending buy orders on long trades are above open price BUT pending sell orders on short trades are also above open price . Shouldn't pending sell orders on short trades be below open price and not above ? Using version from post 1 . |

OK lets go Maybe i somethink dont understood but i think i found mistakes Lets go with pictures EA version 1j pair CHFJPY picture 1. i start trade at 9:00. The first candle end 10:00 is bullish but its end under my open daily price 114.405. The EA send buy stop - I think this is not correct. We are under daily open price we must sell . The candle end on level 114.356 the next level is 114.300 what is 5.6 pips avay. If we accept 6pips distance then on level 114.300 must be sell limit ( if we calculate with 5.1 pips like dsugums writte on first post then we dont have signal) picture 2. The next candle is bearish we are under daily price open but the EA make buy stop on 114.300. I think this is not correct. We must sell but the next level 114.200 is to far from end candle this is not signal. |

INHO How the signal look day 2.7.2014 Daily open price - London 00:00 Start trade frankfurt open End trade london open plus 2. In my chart is 9-12. Candle 1 (9-10) bullish - End under daily open price-level 1.367788 - we will maybe sell- next level for sell 1.36700 - too far from end candle - NO SYGNAL. (Also its too close to daily opne price i dont know if this is also rule.) Candle 2 (10-11- london open) bearish - End under daily open price -level 1.367127 - we will maybe sell - next level 1.36700 - 2pips from end candle - SYGNAL -SELL STOP 136700 Candle 3 (11-12) bearish - End under daily open price - level 1.365600 - we will maybe sell - next level 1.36500 - distance 6 pips - SIGNAL SELL STOP 136500 -BUT - The level 1.36500 is also 31 pips from hight of the day. The ATR 7 is 46 pips. 70 percent of ATR is 32.2 pips. The level 1.36500 is too close to 70%ATR7 - DONT TRADE too risky. Then in this chart we have only one trade - sell on level 1.36700 |

next note Maybe it will be good if sygnal will be still valid if next candle is inside. Like is showing in this pictures. Candle 1 is give us sygnal. Candle 2 is insice candle the low is only 0.3 pips from previos low H1 candle. For me is acceptable like inside bar. Then we can keep this sygnal. I think. This is only idea. |

For reasons best known to contributors here, I am seeing a number of posted M5 charts. Now, I am not entirely sure which bit of: from post 1 is causing you guys difficulty. None of these are multi-syllable words; all are English. In case of doubt, ds mean 'H1' by '1H'. That is the H1 chart, ok? Yes, the D1 open price should be the D1 open price, whatever chart the ea is loaded onto. Yes, I try to code so that my code resists all the lunacy normally thrown at it. Yes, I normally succeed in doing so. Maybe there is some thingy buried deep within the code that means an H1 strategy derails an idiotic attempt to use it on an M5 chart? I don't know, and am not going hunting for it. Stop posting your blasted M5/15/30/240/1440 charts and read post 1 properly. Post what looks like a bloop on the H1 and I will take some notice. I have my own problems there, but nobody else seems to be having them, so maybe it is just me. Sorry to be a bit sharp. I have spent most of today trying to code something that should be idiotically simple but which has resisted all my attempts to beat it into submission, so I am in a bad mood. A vary bad mood. Which means I am not prepared to put up with rubbish posted by idiots trying to use an H1 EA on M5 charts. Capiche? |

Looks like the trades are done for the Asian session at +18%. I only trade aud and nzd combi for Asian, euro, gbp, chf combi for London and usd combi US. Keep the number of pairs minimal to trade to get better result. Here is my settings which I find more reliable: Risk %: 3 (personal risk tolerance) TP: 10pips SL: 10pips (changed from 5pips to avoid whiplash from spikes) DailyPercentOfBalanceTarget=15; (figure yourself how greedy you are, 5% is good enough if dealing with $5K account) Open hour: I use US close as new candle Trailing stop: I don't use it Stochastic: True MinimumAcceptableRemainingPips=5; I removed/changed the distance to floor/ceiling to none (to get more trades since the sl is 10pips now) // if (dPriceCeiling - Bid < (5.1 / factor)) // if (Bid - dPriceFloor< (5.1 / factor)) I limit the max spread to 2pips to limit my trading pairs (usually some pairs more than 2pips spread during Asian). Last two days my limit is hit during Asia by just trading AUD and NZD combi. No need to be greedy to trade all sessions. Set the daily limit and F@@k off. Maybe a daily loss limit will be a good idea as well This method is pretty simple and don't over complicate it. My daily target is 5% which can be achieved with 2 trades. Less trades more profit. Hi Steve, Think there could be a misunderstanding here. varso is posting lower tf chart to micro in on what is going on during the end of the hour. If you observe carefully, in his M5 chart there is a constructed H1 candle, which lets him know what the H1 candle looks like. Bascially he is visually testing what is going on in the strategy on a M5 chart. P.S: Varso can you share your candle indicator ? Cheers |

Any AUD and NZD combo, including AY and NY EA, GA, AY, AU, NY, NU (rest of NZD combo has very high spread). You need news to get the 10pips, otherwise wasting time looking at the EA struggling between sl and tp. |
