PS Before the roasting starts, there is no way I would suggest putting up a live set like this, but it did highlight for me the possible benefits of exploring this EA as a "fairly high frequency trader".

Actually, I think this is a valid experiment and most of us would be grateful if you could continue. 10 high value pips are much easier to achieve than 100 low value ones. It is just the numbers look so scary.

Hi guy's, I have a gut feeling I'm on to something with SBB. Seeing last weeks JPY-moves cut short due to a fixed $-value, I have been thinking about how to capture these moves and keep them. Since I don't have a bath, I did the thinking in the garden sitting in the sun... The entry's of SB are awesome, but when and how to TP to make the most out of it? I set up a demo, trading 26 pairs on the M30 [I demo'd M30 last week and was happy with the results] and taking all the TREND-trades without a TP. I intend to close all and everything on friday at some point. Since last night, 44 orders were fired, and those went into GREEN big time [my 'old' demo closed a 2% basket already]. See picture, nearly 1.000 green pippies floating. SBB M30 no closure.png Now I start to wonder if we need to start thinking about some basket-trailing, but then again, at what distance. Any thoughts? .

How about working out the average pip per trade gain when baskets close and using a % of that with the adaptive pip jumping stop feature in MPBM? So say the average pip gain is 10 pips then use adaptive jumping stop of 6 or 7 pips? No doubt a bit of trial and error would be needed to get the right balance.
