Probably december volatility will enter soon, so curious how HGB finds it's course then.

My early suspicions are that HGB will handle any market condition because it caters for trend and range trades, but it may require a different setup in the options, there's only way to find out, onwards and upwards

The beauty of demo trading is we can leave HBB to do its thing to see what happens. Live, with the account up 30% in just over a day if I had closed the position, no way in the worlds would it have stayed open.

I have written a suite of scripts to make opening/closing/deleting trades easier. There is a pdf in the file that tells you what they do - Scripts.zip in post 1.

V 1i is in post 1.

I was under the impression that a TMA Range signal came at the open of a new candle, so HGB was only checking at the open. I had a look at a couple of UC trades deep in the hole and which had not closed, so I moved the TMA code so that it is read at the same time the Trend/RAD.Range components are read. HGB showed a signal straight away and closed the trades.

Okay this is getting scary, up 850 pips for the day and 650 of those are banked. Where's the catch

I did notice though that the H4 isn't doing nearly as well, it's down 450 pips. Don't know if anyone else has seen a performance difference between the H1 and H4

Haven't been playing with the 1 hour but am down 230 pips closed and 220 open on 4 hour so about the same

HGB just triggered some Trend trades and sent the pendings as coded, so that bit is working.

We need a little extra coding to stop the situation where, for example, a buy is sent at 1.15 and the first pending is 5 pips away at 1.2 but that can wait until the weekend.

In the meantime, the markets appear to be going nuts, so let's see where this takes us.
