No this particular set doesn't have a stop loss which has got me into deep DD today with the EU pairs that are open. :(
I have made the decision to add a SL at 125% of D1 ATR. Ideally this would be close all in the basket, but Desky doesn't have that option. I will move the stops manually to the original market order SL value with a script once it gets out of the DD and starts taking trades again. I have also cut the number of grid orders down to 2.

Thanks - I found the same thing, my trades have a LARGE drawdown. Your previous version with the ATR SL fared much better!

Gents, these are end-of-month rebalancing flows causing countertrend movements. IMO it would be better to try to filter these out instead of affecting all trades with SL and reduced grid size. Just my 2 cents.

Desky does have the 125 ATR sl option that was being used in your original settings (not sure if it's D1) , I have added that to my demo, hopefully it will mitigate some of the losses going forward

I think this is it, from the user guide "ATRPercent: this causes TakeProfitValue and StopLossValue to be treated
as a percentage of the D1, 14 period ATR."

Looking at the HT charts I tend to agree that this is a temporary change in direction. We have, or are about to return to HT supply/demand levels on all of the pairs in DD. Lets hope we are both right.

I have contacted Steve and he has agreed to produce a stand alone multi currency EA for us. :clap:
I have asked him to incorporate a "fill the gap" option after sending a grid, as well as an option for a hard stop for all trades at a value of the original and first market trade.
But in the mean time I will set up 2 accounts with the same settings apart from the "fill the gap" (which I will do manually) and the other a SL for all trades on a pair at 125% OF D1 atr for the first market trade (also manually) until we have it. I hold a fulltime job away from the computer so it will be hit and miss, but hopefully it will give us an idea. :good:

The dip in growth was a GA retracement that hit the 1st SL, then continued in our direction to take the 20 pip TP with a nett result of a 120 pip loss. If it continued in the wrong direction it would have been quite a loss, but we are a ultimately trading in the higher TF direction so hopefully it should not happen often. Time will tell...... :!:

Hi all I'm using these templates but EA doesn't place buy/sell limit trades but opens them directly without any SL or TP.

You won't see any SL or TP on this set as it closes with a basket total of 20 per pair or 50 globally.
It should fire off a market order and then a grid of limit orders when criteria is met. If price fills all the limit orders and continues in that direction stop orders are placed manually (H4 ATR) to fill when price eventually goes back in the higher TF direction, the direction we are trading.
If you are having all the trades open at once I suggest you check your CPU. It has done it on the odd occasion when I was pushing my VPS with too many terminals open.
Have only your TDesk and Desky charts open and minimised, right click your mouse over your market watch bar and left click hide all.
This will help to cut CPU usage.
