Post subject:  Hopelessly confused by TDesk or Desky? Ask here.
Ive tried my best but totally stuck now and need help, my problem is I want Desky to follow this logic.....

Desky recieves a BUY signal from TDesk and places a pending trade BUY STOP X distance above the current price
or
Desky recieves a SELL signal from TDesk and places a pending trade SELL STOP X distance below the current price

From the manual

The selectable type of pending trades are :-

Buy_stop,
Buy_limit,
Buy_stop_and_buy_limit,
Sell_Stop,
Sell_limit,
Sell_stop_and_sell_limit

So I tried Buy_stop and you get only Buy pending orders when TDesk sends a Buy signal which is the behaviour I would expect. No Sell orders when a Sell signal is sent from TDesk unless you select Sell_stop.

My question is can Desky fulfil the logic as above or am I limited to using immediate market orders? Sorry to be so thick :roll:

Is the Push Alert the same thing that can make the alert go to the Android/IOS Empty4 app?

This is faulty logic on my part. The list needs refining so that what you want is doable.

I will sort this out later.

I do not know, David - I have never used this feature. Perhaps someone else can answer?

Can I use ?
Need to change in TDESK to "GOLD"
Add blank GOLD chart to use Tdesky ?

I seem to have a problem dont know if its caused by me

Example....I have a SUPER signal NZDUSD BUY pending trade which was placed on 5th Feb around 17:00 followed by a FLAT signal soon after.

I have delete pending orders on flat signal = true

As you can see the order has not deleted, I have been through the manual and settings Vq btw and cant see where ive gone wrong, but I cant rule out stupidity on my part :oops: . I think the issue also applies to placing new trades, in other words you can get a SUPER signal BUY and nothing happens immediately. I am sure this worked in the past in a previous version. Any help/comments would be appreciated.

It is possible that the spread was too wide at the time the pending should have been deleted; Desky takes no action during these periods. Maybe the FLAT signal was too old to be acted upon by the time the spread returned to normal.

I will have a look at the code. Obviously we want pending trades deleting following a FLAT signal and we may need some of the code re-ordering so that the trades are deleted before Desky aborts trade sending/closing/managing.

Hello

I am testing Leon setup Tdesk sending signals to Desky. Is possible to set Daily target profit in Desky the same way AwesomeSS has in the code ? So far getting good results but after goal met Desky continues taking trades.
