Hey Jem,

Tried to set up my first basket this evening. Long pairs - A/F, A/C, A/U, A/J, N/U, N/J Short - E/A
Put all the parameters in but nothing happens.

Journal says EA was loaded successfully and then removed 4 seconds later. Any ideas

Weekly take was +445 pips. I expect this week to be even better as I learned a lot last week about stop placement.

Hey. Explain to me where you see a setup which is making you want to trigger a basket now? There is no setup and I apologise but I can't help you with your q. Maybe the EA is so smart it's protecting you by not letting you trigger a basket that will almost surely go against you

Hey. Explain to me where you see a setup which is making you want to trigger a basket now? There is no setup and I apologise but I can't help you with your q. Maybe the EA is so smart it's protecting you by not letting you trigger a basket that will almost surely go against you

Well...he said sheepishly on the A/C for example the D1 is .79 and the H4 is .97. Pivots are in order and price has come down to the 5ma. All the pairs are similar to this setup so if I screwed it up, I screwed them all up...

If you're playing the 5.1 then you need to wait for price to go below it. Then when price comes back up and touches the 5.1 you can look to enter a basket.

You could also be playing for a bounce of the pivot sand hope that Monday just keeps on going with the trend but if price retraces (which Monday has been doung lately) you are going to get stopped. I'd wait for a bigger retracement before you pull the trigger.

Also I've got audcad at .65 daily, better get that checked.

No worries dude. Gotta have patience for the retracements. If you get in on a big retracement then that means lots of room for profit and small room for loss which means we can pump up the risk to reward and aim for a bigger tp and smaller sl.

Also I've got audcad at .65 daily, better get that checked.

There seems to be a reasonably large difference between crims. For example a little earlier Bully Pepperstone had D1 CADJPY @ 0.41 - FXCM @ 0.19.

Been lurking around, catching up on the threads here. The system looks great so far. Spent some time on NanningBob and Alorente's threads over in FF. So far, like it better here.
Big thx to all those working so hard to develop these trading approaches.

Just an update on my basket as I rise and shine this morning. I didn't enter correctly last night as Jemook pointed out, but I came out okay so far. Basket is up 220 pips so far. Don't really know what to think.

As you can see in attached, on Aud/Chf and Eur/Aud, if I'd waited for price to come down under 5ma or to hit pivot, they never would have. Aud/Usd would have been a more traditional trigger. Does that look correct Jemook?
