Price was nicely over the Daily and Weekly pivots, but it was pretty obvious that there was a high probability of price breakdown. The EA went long on both but it was very clear that a reversal was forming. Divergence was clearly shown in RSI, Trix, and also in WOH 2x1 and H4 Slope (H1 and H4 charts). This type of situation can be handled in each chart by selecting the Only Short box on the common tab of the EA, but it would be great if it could be automated. Coding the divergence between price and WOH 2x1 would make the EA more profitable.
Al,

Your input is GOLD 8-)
Thanks for this clarification ;)

Just to make it even more clear:

if risk=0 then lots=lotsize

if risk>0 BUT calculatedlots < minlotsize then lots=minlotsize

if risk>0 AND calculatedlots > minlotsize then lots=calculatedlots (rounded)

I am trying to work with the Trailing Stop function but don´t quite understand it. It seems I´m missing a setting. A trailing stop needs two inputs, the amount of pips from entry, at which point it is set and the number of pips it trails price by. In the EA inputs, there is only an option for Trailing Stop Target Pips. Which of the two settings is this and where is the other one?

Thanks.

Trade mgmt stuff on this EA are derived from MPTM.
MPTMuserguide.pdf has a good explanation of jumping stops:

JumpingStopPips: the number of pips to jump. For example, my default of 300
works like this:
• Market price hits order open price + 300: moves sl to break even.
• Market price hits order open price + 600: moves sl to + 300.
• Market price hits order open price + 900: moves sl to + 600.

Same goes for trailing, except that it move SL at every pip.

I believe if you put TSTP= 50 it should work like this:

You open a buy position at price p
SL = p-50
price goes down, nothing happens
price goes up 1 pip, nothing happens
price goes up 50 pips, SL = p
price goes up 51 pips, SL = p+1
and so on...

IN MPTM you have the option to wait for breakeven before start trailing, here I dont know if trailing starts immediately, after BE (if set), or after TSTP pips (probably is this one, but im not sure)...

Ok. Thanks. I was hoping you could start trailing after a certain number of pips. For example: After moving 100 pips from entry, trail price by 10 pips. This is important, because if you have a strong resistance area 100 pips from your entry point and you want to protect your profit but not close the trade outright in case it breaks the resistance and keeps going, you could automatically trigger a 10 pip trailing stop at that point and protect 90 pips.

This can't be done with MPTM/MPTM derived features - do a google search for Compuforex Trailng Stop - that will almost do what you need - instead of saying trail 10 pips @ +100 pips you can get it to trail x% (so in this case 10%) @ +100 pips. I usually use Steve's stuff as it is suits my needs but I have used this before and it's ok.

OT: I use Compuforex trade sender, and it works like a charm.
I remember someone here interested in mail alert EAs; this one sends an email for every Empty4 trade action (but you can filter out unwanted events).

Hi Alex,
do you see four open trades on AUDJPY at 18:24 is that bug or that is because of criminals?
