Amazing job as usual your code is so clear that we can read it as a roman !

I'm runnig 3 Empty4 with your standards params Except
1 - NB 10.2
2 - NB10.2a
3 - NB 10.2 + NB 10.2a

All was started at th same time and migrate from 1.1 1.2 and 1.3 at the same time.

Empty4_1 : NB 10.2 Empty4 close 3 good trades (BB range and WPC range) and is running 6 good trades and 1 bad (BB and WPC)

Empty4_2 : NB 10.2a only running 5 bad trades (Pivot Short/Long)

Empty4_3 : NB 10.2 + 10.a don't close any trade ans is running quite all bad trades. I'm surprised this version don't took the same trade as Empty4-1 + Empty4_2 together ? No trade close as in Empty4_1 ?

It looks like 10.2 and 10.2a are in conflict !

any idea ?


I'm also running intensive research on ForexTester for NB 10.2. I just finish to code your version of BB range and WPC range trade. I will tested and published results on 5 years from 2008/2012. For now, very good result in 2008.

2 Which criminal(s) are you testing it on?

I'm comparing FXCM with Alpari UK. FXCM up 9% and Alpari down 9%.

Yes same brokers - 3 Demos HotForex - I wil compare 3 others Empty4 with Cowboy Go Markets and MIGBank
No sunday candle for me.
Have you check if both Empty4 have same historical datas ? Very important for Slope !

Hmm - just opened up the Bot and watched it take 5 x AUDNZD trades with the buy and take profit all the same- resulting in loss of over 300 pips in bid/offer.

I see others have had the same issue? Is this Bot or Crim related?

FWIW, running v1.0.2 OOTB for 24 hours:

* 11 closed trades in GBPUSD (and 1 in GBPAUD?) with 0-1 pips profit, for a total of 2.5 pips profit

* 1 open D1 Trend trade with 42 pips profit

* 3 open BB Range trades with about 45, 18, and 25 pips profit

* 2 open WPC Range trades with about 73 and 72 pips LOSS

So from this short sample we seem to have a small-trade problem with GBPUSD (!? but this might be fixed in v.1.0.3?), D1 Trend and BB Range are looking good, and so far WPC Range is a major stinker.

Overall the account is down very slightly, due to the big WPC Range losses.

Not sure if this behavior is due to current conditions or what, but I thought the patterns might be useful. If it continues in this pattern, you could do very well just by turning off WPC Range trades. That would leave this thing up almost 4% in 24 hours -- not bad!!

I am running v1.2 (will be updating this morning), and having an issue with the JS.

The EA is taking trades and is setting TP correctly & for the purpose of this test I am not setting SL, just relying on the JS which is set at 30. I have not seen any of the other issues such as multiple trades etc as others have reported.

I have (approx) 5 trades that all exceeded +30 (comfortably) but no JS has been activated.

Not sure if I have missed setting something or if it is a bug

I have attached my set file in case there is something obvious I have missed.

I was running v1.02 last night. When I woke up this morning, I saw around 70 audnzd and 40 cadchf closed with losses. I wonder if it's the code or me. Thanks.

If you are have a lot of opening and closing trades, please post a screenshot of your experts tab. MultiBob shows some logging that can be used to pinpoint possible errors. Thank you.

Running V1.0.3 on 10.2a Cowboy Go Markets Aust Demo
I have 4 closed trades @ .1 lots profit $128.00 and 5 open trades at current +$100.00
I have 'only trade currency twice' set to true yet currently have 3 GBP buy trades open.

The Multi-open trades at once and the 1 minute open-close problems seem to be ubiquitous across many EA's here. For me it's happened with Shelley Jem EA, as well as the previous thread 10.2 autotrader started by SteveHop and then took over by member Al3exx and now this one. So that's 3 autotrading EA's.

Three possibilities I can think of;

1. There is something fundamentally flawed in the code of these EA's perhaps because the code is borrowed from previous EA's so the problem gets passed down etc.
2. Broker issues.
3. Empty4 issues.

I am not a coder but have been working with computers since 1989 as a user. My gut instincts says it's #1 but I could be wrong.

At about 22:30 GMT I started getting a bunch of short-duration losing trades -- see attached. Unfortunately an indi I wrote seems to be spewing out 10-15 messages a second so the Experts tab is running about 6 hours behind!! It's 01:25 GMT now, and the Experts tab is currently dumping messages from 19:25 yesterday. So I can't tell you what's in the Experts tab.
