thanks for that. I am trading the 4 hr and i am familiar with price action trading. I have been trading a while. I will keep at it for a bit and see if it turns around. Just wondered how others were doing with testing/trading. Its been a couple of months now of HGI and just wanted to get and idea if it was just me being unlucky and picking the few turkey trades or anyone else wasn't doing so well. I suspect my problem is not closing bad ones early enough.

Try using pending orders a little distance from the entry signal line. Then if price goes against you, your entry isn't triggered. Then you can either cancel or readjust. IMHO

Hi Jasa, I am sorry to hear about your plight. From reading the posts here, many members are complimenting their own methods of trading with HGI signals and are doing well. I for one finds HGI very helpful in my manual trading of the Dow Jones index, and picking only the high probaility trades using price action, trendlines, etc It has boost my confidence enormously knowing that HGI signals confirms my analysis of the situation using methods I had been using in the past.

If it has not worked for you so far, then go back to demos until you are profitable. Keep persevering until you find the right formula for you. Everyone trades differently, so it is difficult to know why you have not yet managed to be successful. I say NOT YET purposely because I am convinced that eventually you will succeed. Chin up and keep trying !

I posted a similar question as the one above regarding trading results earlier in the week, and the general consensus was that it is a poor time to trade...the markets are pretty much directionless (waiting for something perhaps?)

I have come to the conclusion that seeing as you do not really know what the market will be doing or when it will do it, you in effect have to take every signal and be in the market all the time.

I do know (because I am currently experiencing it...) that it will feel like you are killing your account by a thousand tiny cuts, but, firstly, you have to be in the market in the first place to get in on the big moves, secondly, we do not know when the big moves will come but when they do, they will more than make up for the thousand little losses that have accumulated (that I have seen too).

So, my advice (and I am talking to myself as much as anyone else here)...take the signals as they appear in order to get into the rhythm and cycle of the market, the profits will wash out to your account in the end, it is inevitable.

Bob, when you have some time, in 16.04, explain settings igiCustom and ignoreFuture please.

Also i know you dont watch lower time frames, but i am testing 15 minute and getting multiple wavy symbols both yellow and blue on the same candle when price is inn a consolidation like Asia session. Is this normal, is this something that can be fixed so not so many wavy symbols on the same candle. one blue and one yellow would be preferred maximum. tnx ron

isiCustom is used if the indicator is called form an other indicator or EA, no use in manual trading the HGI
ignoreFuture=true uses a different TMA calculation formula simil like TMA true trying to avoid repainting, but gives mostly in manual trading not better results as HGI since 15.6 uses a no anti-repaint formula if you do not re-initialize the indicator, that is why it is set to false OOTB

I have 18 pairs on screen and when the alert comes i need to search the TF and go there. I know that it is a few secs only like 5-10 secs to find it but if its possible to get there automatically why not...

It is important when trading H4 to know the general trend on D1 so is it possible in next versions to add to the New Market Info the possibility to show trend on D1? Unless there is already something like this and i don't know about it...
