I Still Wonder How I Ever Got So Used to Trading with Very very Minimal Indicators, after a while One Seems to Understand What to Do and What Not to Do... It takes a While but Trust me it becomes Second Nature. Y'all Stay Cool,

I like to use the curve tool at trading view, one to identify entries and two to keep me in trades  It may help... if ppl require it Stay Cool  |

Welcome back Xrismak. Good to see some old timers are still at it.  Interesting tool. Been playing with it since you posted. Might be good for spotting accumulation span and to help prevent entering too early. Thanks! |

Nice, I've been experimenting with using it like this for when they move from one level to the next, the red dots are the anchor points of the tool, you basically measure the range and drag it out to the previous swing, if everything lines up it seems work well It's a nice timing tool on top of naked trading. |

Naked trading is the best way. It’s how institutions trade. They seek liquidity. Most indicators are lagging, although can give a decent idea of momentum. Anyway, I hope this thread is resurrected. |

Guys I need to pick some brains here. I am a price action trader so i trade the charts CJ style. One of the things that I have observed (which is quite well known) is that when the market creates a void or a fair value gap, price will always come back and fill it. I am trying my hand at scalping here. I identify a FVG on the H4 chart. eg here: So this is Audjpy.That pink zone is the FVG. It usually attracts price like a magnet. What i try and do is move onto the 5 min time frame and await some confirmation that price is about to go up to my zone. Usually its a HH and a HL and a break in structure. In this case, it was this: The problem is, this doesnt always work. Sometimes the market breaks structure and continues lower (or in the opposite way for a while). Here is an example of GCHF. It WILL get filled, just a question of when: Ive tried using RSI, Stocastics etc on the lower tf. Im wondering if any of the bright brains in this wonderful group can offer a suggestion as to what I could use as an indicator that gives me better odds? A wycoff style of entry would be good but im still trying to get my head around it. Indicator may be better for now.. Thanks in advance. Chibs! |

Hey Guys, I too hope that the thread is resurrected A resource that helped me a lot with identifying cycles is the work of George Bayer, it sort of gives one a relatable visual, ie he relates the cycles to courses of a dinner menu! Sounds crazy I know, but it has really helped me get out of the rigidity of a 3 level rise/drop frame of mind. He uses the 1941 SM crash as an example which is nearly identical to what we are approaching now!Let's get this cranking again |
