@ MrLong (Andy), If you have no objections, could you please provide a copy of your setfile? I'd like to study it and see what somebody whom may or may not be having sucess is doing to get trades. I ran the EA for several hours yesterday (using a setfile from a couple of weeks ago) without a single trade opening. The Recent Strength indi wasn't showing any output. I deleted the Recent Strength output file, and went back to OOTB settings. A new Recent Strength output file was quickly created. However, now after 8 hours the Recent Strength indi is still not showing any output, but the strength values are getting updated on the output screen. I did have one nice trade open during that time. I am using a demo account! FYI, the output screen still says that version 1.02 is being run, even though I am using version 1.03b. I know that it's purely a cosmetic thing, but they (I still don't know who they are) say image is everything. Regards, -Frank |

Andy, or anybody else may know.... I'm trying to understand how the ADR SL/TP works....I undertaker what ADR is, just not sure how the .51(SL) and .61(TP) work relative to the entry price.... Firstly, Is the ADR calculated for the previous 1440 minutes prior to entering the trade or is it calculated from GMT +2, so in the case of the second option, the period the ADR is calculated over could be very short, if you were entering a trade at say 01:00 (GMT +2)... My Second Questions is, From what point is the the TP and SL calculated....? Lets say we enter a trade and the ADR is 100 pips, the TP is .61, so this i believe is a TP of 61 pis, Correct...? Is this just added to the entry price.... I'm assuming it is....! Andy, i also asked you a similar question in the Multi_Stoch_Rsi_Trader thread, is it possible to paint the SL and TP lines on the charts....As i also mentioned in the other thread, i understand as this is a multipair trader, then this may be difficult, however i understand Steve's MPTM can paint these virtual TP's and SL's on the chart....With these in place, traders may be able to intervene more readily when a trade appear to be reaching support or Resistance levels, round number etc....It just helps manage the trades....what do you think.... PS, I just managed to get this EA running overnight and have one trade in flight, chfjpy long at 98.456.... Regards Wiggy |

Hi Frank, My setfile would be of no use to you as I change the settings on a daily basis, I don't have the EA making money or losing money, it just seems to hold its head at the 10'000 level where I started the account. Best Regards Andy |
