Hi chaps ! :hi: I removed the matilda test acc's with AUDUSD + AUDCHF into the archiv TGTFX2. So, for the matilda only these ones are left atm as possible diversification partners: EURNZD, NZDCHF, EURCHF and perhaps even the NZDJPY. All the others tested create sooner or later high DD's: long lasting nasty and dangerous situations ! It seems zentauro running the oldest matilda demo account is now in trouble - his account is a good lesson to learn. Although he doesnt use to much pairs the DD's of some of them bring the whole acc into deep DD's ! http://www.myfxbook.com/members/zentaur ... lda/819377 That may happen in any moment. So look two of my demos with GBPUSD: http://www.myfxbook.com/members/MANDL20 ... 25k/941967 and http://www.myfxbook.com/members/MANDL20 ... -5/1014612 ! The first account got married with AUDUSD at the end of september: exactly beginning from that time all the fu...ng trouble began. In case of the second account I carelassly even started with (only !) two pairs: the favorite GBPUSD + AUDUSD. That account is lumbering slowly up waiting the divorce from AUDUSD. So think twice bevor adding a second pair into a matilda account. :hi: So, another trading week is other now ! And we can celebrate a nice anniversary ! Matilda is running half a year now doing her best - great  I started her exactly at 07 may 2014: http://www.myfxbook.com/members/TGT_FX/ ... -5k/913926 Since that time she did a pretty good job. AND: all the time she was alone (GBPUSD only) - now I decided: she needs a companion. So today she got married !  Her husband is: EURNZD ! The whole Matilda story is in the MFXB account "MANDL2007" documented. http://www.myfxbook.com/members/MANDL2007 All the testing with the Matilda is undertaken with the Matilda for GBPUSD + 4 other well running pairs: EURNZD, NZDCHF, NZDJPY and EURCHF. So far things are going a the right way. Interesting result you may watch for this 5 months old acc: http://www.myfxbook.com/members/MANDL20 ... 25k/941967 The Matilda at this account got a boyfriend - AUSUSD - after doubling the acc balance. But after the start of that ardent friendship - some trouble began. Perhaps it seems they didn't get along well with each other and they do not understand each other good enough ? Immediatley some higher DD occured after starting this partnership. So we see it again: running the Matilda with more then one pair isn't a good approach. Adding only one more pair may bring the account in serious trouble. So what about running the bot with 5-6 pairs ? So a last, third post for today. What about the other EAs in testing ? I dont have them to much now. They all have been started only after waiting their bugfree status and reading in the threads about first promising results. The 2 last bots Jose coded are running well, although they show (again) some tendency to developing the GTG ("Grid Trading Gap"). But its to early for drawing any conclusions. I jumped into some proven "Thingy Bob EA's" - so far so good. (Btw, I like this silent guy: http://www.myfxbook.com/members/TGT_FX/ ... 32/1068258). Watching a Pipcruiser's Pipmasher account as well. |

The bot to use together with the Matilda setfile is: "Blessing 3 v3.9.6.08Mod3.1" !! |

Hi chaps ! :hi: Some little changes have been made. The only succesful bot on my VPS is still the Matilda (no changes here !). And consequentially she is so far the sole candidate for live trading .... but a grid trader .... :youknow: (Ahh ... and yes: the NZDJPY Matilda acc created a big DD .... so this one is moved into the archive !  ATM I use the Matilda with these pairs: GBPUSD, EURNZD, EURCHF (yep, the AUDUSD was included some time ago, but not sure about this pair, although its doing a satisfying job ... so far !) / furthermore I'm watching the NZDCHF pair)Perhaps in some weeks the Stochy Bob could be started on the VPS as a second candidate for live trading. But it's to early yet for a final decision. I started another silent bot like the Stochy Bob - "Pipcruiser's Pipmasher". BUT: dont have clear ideas about the best settings for this bot. But it looks so far promising ! Experimenting with the SBB, have satisfying results. But it seems to me others here are also in an experimental state concerning the SBB. The 2 bots Jose coded last time - "Colleen Bollinger IX" and the xMeter "!xmeter HGNP 3" - unfortunately show the "GTG" again   ("GTG" = "Grid Trading Gap" - the gap ocuring between the balance and equity curves, orange + red lines in the MFXB acc pictures) Cheers |
