Mike, I posted a patch a few pages back that should fix that issue, though the EA still creates odd-looking trades with a tiny TP and a huge SL (witness GBPAUD right now as an example) - I don't know if that's how 10.4 is designed or not.

Yep SL is intended to be loose with small pos size to maintain relative risk. Exits are pretty discretionary as the system was designed manually. AO exits aren't awesome, exit on reversal rsi signal seems better. Just read through your ATR hack. Nice.

Guys,

My DEMO is going backwards here. I use OOTB settings, then I used the template provided by Andy.
But in both occasions I have trades closing all the time with a loss.
Market reversal is the main culprit here. Some of you reported 5% gain on the account I have 5% loss of the equity in 2 days.
I don't think that TP works. No matter what figure I set it to the EA does not close the trade.

Otherwise the EA looks spectacular and the interface is nice, but I still have to get it to trade profitably.
If any of you having luck would be able to provide a setfile that would be nice.
I am keen to check this EA out and have plenty of PC power to run various test on it.

Frank, there's bugs in the current EA that definitely cause a negative drain on an account, and will hopefully be addressed in the next version...

Hi slipshod,

Thanks for the info, fellow Aussie :)

I thought there has to be some issue with it, there is no way it can only produce losing trades.
Since I started it, I had not one single winner on this. All closed in the negative.

Hopefully the next version will get rid of the bugs, because this can be one of the best EA's out there once all things fixed.

Hi all; i too am giving the ea a whirl and agree it has great potential.
I assume it is not normal on compile to get "Function 'AO change' is not referenced and will be removed from the exp-file" same for Log?

what have i done wrong?

Thx to MrLong for sharing such an wonderful EA.

I just started testing this EA from today. Few orders got executed and remains with positive. I noticed the SL and TP were not set in the active and the pending orders. I assume the SL and TP will be set when the appropriate price is hit to hide the actual TP/SL from the criminals. Is my assumption right? Appreciate if someone can confirm this. Thanks

Yes, thats correct, you can set the useStealth switch to false and the SL/TP should be entered.

Hello Traders,

Version 1.07: on page 1.


Version 1.07 has been running all night and seems to be working ok.

I've added a new setting: extern int maOuterBufferPips = 300; <== Change to your own setting.

Change this number to whatever you like, the EA will not trigger a trade if price is more than that amount of pips away from the 240 MA.

extern int maBufferPips = 20: <== Change to your own setting.
Will not trigger a trade until that amount of pips away from the 240 MA.

int correlationTF = PERIOD_H4; <== Changed to H4 TF

Don't forget to change the Magic Number.

Lets see what comes up next.
