They have an Australian branch and I joined them before Global Prime got going.
I started trading with them in late July 2012 and was enjoying some success til early Oct 2012.

Then they decided that they did not like my trading style(I was trading the news with straddle trades placing pending orders where OCO & I maintain a tight trailing stop) and said that I was trading illegally in that I was placing Hedging trades and scalping, as my trades did not always take over 90 seconds to complete.

I discussed my trading style with their representative before I funded my account and was assured that it was perfectly OK.
These trades were placed by an EA I wrote(and posted here trying to improve it).

YTFX decided after more than 2 months to simply rewrite history by ‘closing’ all my trades so that there was no result.
These were trades that had already been closed.

So my account balance which was travelling at about +50% profit turned to my original balance, which I feel fortunate to have got back before they appropriated it as well.
Simply rewrite history in their own favour

I am deep in dispute with them with the Financial Ombudsman here in Australia, but want to warn everyone not to have anything to do with these &^%*$^%.

I am unsure what I can do if the appeal to the Financial Ombudsman is not to my satisfaction. I keep hearing that as YTFX returned my deposit, I have not really lost anything(?).

If anyone is interested, I can supply more details.

I would be very interested in receiving more information. I was at the Brisbane Trading Expo this weekend and I met up with these guys and was thinking of opening an account with them. I can't believe any broker would do this to a client. No doubt they will be calling me in the next few days as I gave them my correct phone number so if you can post anything up I will ask them about it.

Hope in the future someday you might be able to operate in the US too. It is a shame the regulation in this country restricts our choices as individual traders.

Cannot actually speak for the other >49 apart from myself, but I can guarantee subsequent readers this; following my constant ringing endorsements of GP, they would be pretty quick to leap upon me if GP didn't look after their clients properly. :lol:

I would love to be able to write, "I had ..... problem with GP and Jem sorted me out within 5 minutes" but I cannot, because I have not had a problem with GP and my live account. Ok, so GP's demo server appears to be a pile of dingo's kidneys several years after the death of said tribe of dingos, but they are working to correct the problems. At least, when the demo is working it is the same feed as the live account server - how often does this happen in other so-called 'brokerages'?

Many have brought these problems up in Jem's thread and not once have I detected a second of obfuscation in his replies - and trust me, as the owner of this forum I watch intently. Unless you are one of those poor peasants in the US whose gov wants to stop all forms of retail Forex trading, just sign up with GP, ok? If you are one of those poor US peasants, I do nag Jem from time to time about this; just not sure GP is re ready to take on the Aussie government for the time being.

Early last year I opened a demo account with the aformentioned broker base in Australia.
They claimed 'minimum spreads on majors' but, when realising they had 30-40 pips on GBPNZD, EURNZD and an overall average 5 times the av. of my current live (Aust) broker, they started offering me all sorts of complementary deposit "deals" which only confirmed my view that they were scoundrels.
Prompted me to compile
PairSpreadDisplay.mq4

Many times their deposit 'deal' would be eaten in spread in 12 months.

Also, Jeremy I think we all appreciate your tremendous contributions here & efforts with GP but I'm sure you would have considerably more clients if GP could 'tell the time' ;-)
Start when forex week starts and stop when forex week stops - no gaps or fill in candles. Have seen a number of other mods say they will not trade live with non synched H4 & H1 candles. Long term traders cope as that seems normal to them, but really makes no sense to stick with GMT which is just an arbitrary line and 2-3 hrs off Forex week time. Just thought worth raising - again ;-)
