How the signal look
day 2.7.2014
Daily open price - London 00:00
Start trade frankfurt open
End trade london open plus 2.
In my chart is 9-12.

Candle 1 (9-10) bullish - End under daily open price-level 1.367788 - we will maybe sell- next level for sell 1.36700 - too far from end candle - NO SYGNAL. (Also its too close to daily opne price i dont know if this is also rule.)

Candle 2 (10-11- london open) bearish - End under daily open price -level 1.367127 - we will maybe sell - next level 1.36700 - 2pips from end candle - SYGNAL -SELL STOP 136700

Candle 3 (11-12) bearish - End under daily open price - level 1.365600 - we will maybe sell - next level
1.36500 - distance 6 pips - SIGNAL SELL STOP 136500 -BUT - The level 1.36500 is also 31 pips from hight of the day. The ATR 7 is 46 pips. 70 percent of ATR is 32.2 pips. The level 1.36500 is too close to 70%ATR7 - DONT TRADE too risky.

Then in this chart we have only one trade - sell on level 1.36700
I don't see this probs with my EA

Hi Steve,

I'm testing version 1L of the EA and appear to have a problem with the daily profit setting...Between what periods is the profit calculated, 0:00-23:59 server of PC time....? The Profit calculation shown on the EA screen output don't seem to make sense also, see blow...?

I have also tried to disable this feature with (i think) the DailyPercentOfBalanceTarget=0 Is this the correct setting..?

Regards
Wiggy

Any AUD and NZD combo, including AY and NY

EA, GA, AY, AU, NY, NU (rest of NZD combo has very high spread).

You need news to get the 10pips, otherwise wasting time looking at the EA struggling between sl and tp.

:cheer:
This is contrary to Udine's original rules of no trade during red news.
Hmmm...but inclined to agree....Asian market tend to be sleepy.

Cheers

Now, I am not entirely sure which bit of:
2) Use 1H time frame chart
from post 1 is causing you guys difficulty. None of these are multi-syllable words; all are English. In case of doubt, ds mean 'H1' by '1H'. That is the H1 chart, ok?

Yes, the D1 open price should be the D1 open price, whatever chart the ea is loaded onto. Yes, I try to code so that my code resists all the lunacy normally thrown at it. Yes, I normally succeed in doing so.

Maybe there is some thingy buried deep within the code that means an H1 strategy derails an idiotic attempt to use it on an M5 chart? I don't know, and am not going hunting for it.

Stop posting your blasted M5/15/30/240/1440 charts and read post 1 properly. Post what looks like a bloop on the H1 and I will take some notice. I have my own problems there, but nobody else seems to be having them, so maybe it is just me.

Sorry to be a bit sharp. I have spent most of today trying to code something that should be idiotically simple but which has resisted all my attempts to beat it into submission, so I am in a bad mood. A vary bad mood.

Which means I am not prepared to put up with rubbish posted by idiots trying to use an H1 EA on M5 charts.

Capiche?
YES I use EA on H1 charts
Don't worry

The charts what I upload are m5 charts but there is also H1 candles.(the red blue rectangle) I manualy draw where EA put the sygnals. You see the sygnals on bottom (Terminal window).
I see that was not good idea draw it on m5. Look on charts one more time please.

But I see that only me have a problem with opposite signals. I will change broker and also use last ea. I will see.

EDIT: I think I found the problem. IMHO. EA don't recalculate when new day start. Is it correct?

I messed up my first demo, so started a new one yesterday, I have set up a demo on all pairs (except eurchf), with the following settings :

Risk : 3%

TP : 50 pips
SL : 5 pips
BE : 5 pips + 1
Jumping stop 10 pips.
no balance limit.

Pairs have personalized hours based on the volatility indicator shared in the thread.
I can probably remove the TP since the jumping stop is quite low but I'm happy to close when reaching 1:10 :)

+230 pips net since yesterday london open.

V 1l is in post 1. I forgot a vital piece of code when updating the D1 candle open time code, so the latest version will only renew the D1 open price if you restart the platform or do a chart tf change.

Coders, go to line 3692 which is DrawDailyOpenLine(); then insert GetD1OpenDetails(); above it:
Code: [Select all]

1. GetD1OpenDetails();

2. DrawDailyOpenLine();

It never ceases to astonish me that people cannot even be arsed to read my posts here and in other threads that I have started.

Ok, so I am an insignificant nonentity, but I did kind of code the bot that we are discussing here. Well, mostly anyhow. All the latest developments are coded by me, for sure. Including the bug fixes that some of you are too lazy to read about.

But hey, why bother to keep up? Why not carry on using a buggy version instead? That way you can upload a few more unintelligent posts about a bug that was cured x versions ago.

I am going to start cracking the whip here guys. Dimwits get deleted from here on in.

On a less grumpy note: my post 1 version demos have all lost handsomely apart from the one taking tp at +10 and sl at -5. This one made up its losses today and the account is now slightly in profit.

Here are the trades from my WmiVol version a few posts ago. GP demo, start balance $500. 1% risk. TP 10. SL 5:

I will leave it running for next week before deciding whether to add this to the mainstream in post 1. We shall see.

Guys, I really advise against asking where to find the WmiVol version. Just don't do it, ok?

Today is Friday and just be mindful with the US holiday as well.

Asian session is news free today so wont be setting the EA to run. Expecting the market to be tight range until Frankie/London where some light news will come in.

Overall, it will be bad day to trade any method anyway

Until next Monday :cheer:
