Good evening guys/girls

Was away today and left the f version going.
Yesterday evening started this morning +700
Now -450 and 90 banked. inputs 1H no tp or stops.
Later on gone load de i Version.

Are there requests of inputs to test? Otherwise i'm doing something what i like.

Hi Pips,

I had the opposite yesterday, losing my shirt on the H1 demo.
So much, I discarded the demo and switched it to another H4.

After I cleared all trades this noon, I've been more or less flat for the rest of the day.
Just read I need to change to new version, NFP here I come!

Holy Bob. I have 38 trades open on a (now) just sub $500 account. No wonder my margin level is now down to 131%. :lol:

It would have been a $660 or so account had I closed the position earlier to lock in the profits. No idea what would have happened subsequently - maybe HGB would have taken new trades that would have given all the profits back. Don't know. For sure, having the TMA Slope Range-spotting code wrong didn't help.

I am starting to formulate plans for next week. I am thinking one main Trend or Rad trade then let the multi-layer stuff take care of hitting it big time when there is a decent move in my favour.

Early days but it looks as though mptm/mpbm might have a role here - usual global closure thingy. We shall see.

Having a blast though.

My thoughts are giving the RAD a TP of D1-ATR, and the range trades a TP of H1-ATR.
Trendtrades I will leave for themselves to close when HGB sees fit.

This avoids giving back à bunch of green on a reversal. I'll try MPTM to put up the TP using the commentfield.

Hehe. Margin level 126% now. :lol:

On a more serious note, one of the things I have grasped lately is that each new trade uses up gradually less and less margin. When you sit and think about it, you can work out why.

I read a while ago a post/thread/something by a guy who regularly trades all of his margin and uses margin calls as a stop loss. Can't remember who or where.

Like here, he was not talking about 3 ridiculously high lot trades that would blow the account come a margin call. He was talking about lots of small trades.

Something to think about perhaps? I have 39 trades open now.

Quite some bonanza if the markets move in my direction.

Probably a tad on the stuffed side if they don't. :lol:

I gave a lot of thought to the program structure before actually coding - or as much as I am able to as an amateur coder. I deliberately coded so that functionality could be added to individual trading strategies without running the usual risk of LUC inviting his buddies for dinner and a top line booze up.

So, extra trade exit stuff is easy to add. Sing out if you want me to code something.

I think MPTM is definitely worth trying and trading the whole lot as a basket. There seems to be a time when profits peak and if not closed out, can reverse to take back those pips and then some. The H1 account now in 800 pip DD. So maybe a basket trailing stop configuration would be great - I'll try out the options next week.
