does each instance of HGB EA on each pair need a unique magic number, or is it ok if all pairs share same Magic Number (0, by default)? Sorry for basic question, but it is the "Basics" thread! |

no than can all use the OOTB 0 , means yes they will work fine sharing the same magic number |

You can leave it at '0'. Bear in mind that by doing so, any manual trades you make will also be recognised by HGB, '0' being the default for manual trades in Empty4. |

Just a quick bit of generalised abuse here, aimed an nobody specifically. Only a cretin with a financial death wish trades HGB OOTB. The OOTB settings tend to reflect the latest thingy I have coded and often bear no resemblance to any kind of realistic live trading whatsoever.  |

About error 130 i like to ask some questions (is this allowed?) In bool SendSingleTrade(string symbol,int type,string comment,double lotsize,double price,double stop,double take) i added some coding to trap the 130. Like this if (err==130) { Print(stype + " " + comment + " ask=" + DoubleToStr(Ask,Digits) + "bid=" + DoubleToStr(Bid,Digits) + " stop=" + DoubleToStr(stop,Digits) + " take=" + DoubleToStr(take,Digits)); } It turned out that stop=0 (zero) with OP_BUYSTOP. imho stop must have a value. Then i did a search on OP_BUYSTOP and it showed on several places: SendSingleTrade(Symbol(), OP_BUYSTOP, TradeComment, TrendMultiTradeLot, price, 0, take); Is that how it should be? Ofcourse same for OP_SELLSTOP. Sorry if this is a wrong question. |

No it doesn't. A stop of zero means no stop loss is sent with the trade. |

Been wrestling this problem for days now. HGB v1z trades nicely. Can't get v2a or 2b to take any trades. For testintg only, have 2b up on the 1 minute so there's no lack of signals- see screenshot. Changed the setting to the TF of 1 and HGI_v15.04 which is what's running on my charts, otherwise left settings OOTB so there was no chance of stupid error. OOTB so it's set to trade ANY of the various signals, yet it won't trade. Any suggestions where I look to solve this? Thanks in advance. Leslie |
