Wow What a read. Just read through all the Nanningboob documentaion, and I must say this guy has really put a lot of effort into building this system.
I primarily want to trade daily and 4hrs and this system seems like a nice set and forget on the daily timeframe (just got to check the charts once a day) After 2 years of me trading all sorts of ways I realised the only way I am going to keep myself steady is if I get a system which is not subjective. This seems to take away most of the subjectivity.

I've looked visually and it seems If trades are taken only during trending times on the daily this can be real profitable.

I've downloaded 10.2a but want to stick to 10.2 until 10.2a is fully tested. I havent used eas and I prefer manual trading. What I want to know is whats the best way to start.

Should I put the template on all pairs and wait for daily closes above the pivot and tma trending? or should I stick to a few pairs and trade them on 4hrs timeframe?

Read...read...and the read some more... ;) there are a plenty of ideas available of how to trade 10.2. And since 10.2 is more a set of guidelines then a rigid ruleset everyone has his own interpretation of it. And that is good ... ;)

You can also use Baludas slope values indicator (look in the 10.2 Indi Thread) that makes a good dashboard for 10.2 since you have the pivotOrder and the TMA of all pairs in one view. And then look into the interesting pairs with the template...

Thanks for the welcome. I really appreciate the quick reply. Oh and I believe I forgot to thank Mr naningboob :).

Any thread where ppl have strategised and tested different methods of trading nanningboob? It would be nice to see and then find my own way from that being a young padowan that I am.

Oh and I had a quick question on stop placement. Since trading the daily I'm guessing I should place stops according to PA. Or is there a strategy on that. Since trading the daily means stops are from 200 pips+ generally

There a couple of subsections and Threads in the 10.2 Category where you will find different setups and trading styles regarding 10.2. You can start with Jemook's New to 10.2? READ THIS FIRST + Recent Developments

This is something where bob is not that specific...since he trades with small lot sizes his stops are very huge. I personally use latest swing high/lows + some pips for stop placement.
SL is also relevant for your Risk- & Money-management.
Based on the latest swing I have my SL and calculate the lot-size for the trade based on my Risk which is about 2-3% of my account size per trade.

Thanks for that. You got any ea or program where I can input account balance and % I want to risk and sl in pips and it tells me the lot size?

Also is there a notepad inside Empty4 :P I just want to write which pairs I should be concentrating on for the week. LOL I guess I could just use windows notepad.

I use excel for both ... but I think there are EA's available here ... just use the search function...

Thanks again. Hope I'm not bothering you too much. Its just I'm really excited about this.

I may have just found the system with the minimal amount of subjectivity needed. For me thats great.
Now to start testing this on my demo.

first, how do i keep track of the blogs i have read to a point where i'd like to get back to later. is there some way to bookmark and return later? with so many strings of interest (and i am just following nb mostly) i keep losing where they are and how far i have gone in them, and have been copying the address of each for use later - and cannot believe that is the best way.

second, with so many systems and indicators and techniques and versions, is it possible to get a list of useable routines to load, (or dated update of the zipped package) to copy what someone successful is using? i have downloaded and run dozens of routines and indis, and still do not have one running profitably - and now do not know what i need and what is potential enhancement or discard-able. i thought i would have sorted it out by now, but you guys are so prolific i cannot keep up - i really appreciate and thank you all for that, but it is frustrating to be old and slow. i admire you all.
This answer might be a bit delayed but may help 'anyone' in the forum. Check out http://getpocket.com/ , gives you an option to forward all your reads/blogs to one read it later app. ;)

Hello, new dummy here.

I just read through the documentation and put the template on the chart.
And when i went back to the chart, this is what i saw.
In the blue 'U' arent one of the histograms suppose to be blue or green? or is this normal? (just wondering if i've got everything right) and if i want to view the histogram far behind, will it affect the current performance of the histogram? like 1000 is the bars to process. is that what i should change to view the histogram even more behind? (i just dont want to play with the settings to mess things up so im confirming).
All times are UTC Page 17 of 26
