Hopefully this will keep us out of reversals and whip lashes better. It also has my first method of re entering a 2nd level trade designed for the 10.2 system. Enjoy. Remember this is a test version and I will be testing it this week for the first time. Basically I am changing the 3MA lines with 1 line using the daily pivot for each pair. This makes each entry specific to the price action of each pair instead of estimating which MA line to use. I am sure Steve will have an EA for entering off of the pivot line up and running soon. S/R lines are not on this test version but using them for profit and SL still applies. I just tried to keep this update as simple as possible. Enjoy.
I hear from France Steve's neurones bustle mql with the new rules 10.2A

Slightly different in that I do not have staff to worry about - but apart from that I am in the same boat re pupils. Numbers have dropped off considerably. This is a cyclical thing that I am well used to but this time is different; my wife is now disabled and unable to work, so if I do not earn the cash it does not get earned. Were it not for my Forex activities, I would be in substantial difficulties.

Not an easy thingy, this life business. Still, better than the alternative.

My God Steve,
Wish Mrs. H my best.......Can't you go after your govt to get her some help both money and physical....I would think that your govt must offer something to help her solve whatever problems she may have.....Again the best of luck to you both with this situation.....

Stay hard at it

Steve sometimes we forget that there are people on the other side of a screen. We all seem to be given something to make us struggle in life, yet out of these struggles comes a brighter future. I wish both you and your wife the best. I am sure she is happy to have you and your big heart to share life and life's struggles with. God bless both of you.

Hi
Can I suggest we encourage the use of Watermark on the 10.2 threads so that we can all see the situation. Watermark shows pair & TF, large font in background.
Even in the manuals sometimes it is impossible to see what pair or timeframe is displayed. Watermark allows change in RGB intensity so is not intrusive. Thanks.

Hi Bob!

I'm currently looking at your 10.2A update. I found that the monday daily pivot is calculated from the sunday candle (if there's a sunday candle). I've checked many other daily pivot indicators (even the one Cowboy IBFX Cowboy IBFX made for their clients), and many online sources that give you the daily pivot. All of them shows that the current daily pivot on eurusd should be somewhere around 1.2502-1.2508. The daily pivot you included in the update shows that the pivot is 1.2549 (on Cowboy IBFX). The price is under the daily and weekly pivot now with your indicators, but with other pivot sources, it's between the daily and the weekly. With your indicators, the daily pivot is between the weekly and monthly, but it should be below both weekly and monthly.
You wrote on the booklet, that this method will hopefully match you up with other traders who use daily pivot levels too. I don't think that too many of the traders use sunday candles to determine monday pivot, so if the goal is to match up with the mass, please take a second look into the daily pivot indicator to check if it's working as intended.

Ps: I hope my post doesn't sound too harsh or rude. English is not my native language, and sometimes it's hard to translate all my thoughts correctly :)

Yes that maybe true, and you are not harsh, it is a good observation. I will look into it but it is using the same indicator that the weekly and monthly use so they will be consistent with each other. My indicator shows that figure for Sunday but when the gaps happened and changed to Monday it reset the pivot to reflect the gap in Monday's math. So the Sunday pivot agrees but with the switch to Monday it adjusted. That may or may not be a problem but for me the new adjusted Monday gave me a bunch of profitable trades since it set higher on the chart and i entered many trades on the cross. The updating after the gaps gives a more accurate pivot for the day. I think the rest of the week they will be about the same. You are going to have a hard time convincing me of changing with this indicator updating after the gaps rather then setting the pivot before the gaps. I have nailed 380 pips in profit for the day and still have some running. Here is the eur/usd chart and shows that both yours and updated pivots on the chart. See red arrows. Updating after the gap made for better trades, at least for today. See pic.
