Yes that is correct they are not set to the various settings but just the Cowboy IBFX setting. With the various pivots I use only Pending orders or occasionally the MA EA if the lines are close. To change those EAs to match all the different brokers and broker times?? you need to specifiy which you would want to use, The pivot formula would have to be figured for each variation. I would just use it unless some one figured it within Baluda's indi so the EA would automatically adjust to the change you made within Baluda's Indi.

As far a WP go I dont change those so a WP Pivot EA would be easy to do.

Hmm let me guess.. Most of them cross yen pairs?
Waiting on retraces and then buying the YEN is going to be an easy trade to do for a while. Use your monthly chart and look for that top so you know when to get out. Since they postponed the changes until 2014 I dont expect the big rise most thought would happen. However, I dont think they will want to lose the gains they made so price will probably range between a certain high and low on YEN pairs for the year. I dont know if those highs or lows have been set yet but that is what I would expect. Once you see those highs and lows set, the YEN will be fairly easy to trade.

Thank you so much for posting this strategy NanningBob! And my thanks to Paul and the other coders as well. So far I'm up 200 pips on a Demo running this (last 2 days) with the pivots set 1H before market opens. Using 20SL/BE+1 at 10/50% TP at 20/trailing the rest by hand. Probably could've done even better but I basket closed about 7 trades when they were up +120 total. Can't wait to keep testing this!

Results for this week, Trading GBPUSD + EURUSD - London + New York - Rest Pivots 1 Hour before the session open. Using 1/2% risk per trade, setting the trade in the direction of the market open with the second position lower/higher depending on the open (around next S/R pivot), again 1/2% risk - so in total 1% risk per pair in the direction of the session open.

Hard SL25 TP100 - no Jump Ea's trying to simulate as if I was at work, coming home etc and managing the trades from that perspective.

Will stick with it next week I think and see if it turns around :mrgreen:

Whilst tracking the forum and waiting for the best way forward to emerge, re Bobs latest findings and conclusions I got a little side tracked with the TMA Slope Norm. I put together an EA to use the TMA slope norm together with stochastic and ADX+/- filters and just netted $160 on a 0.01 lot size from all the usual pairs in 10.2/10.3. If anyone's interested do a visual backtest using the TMA Slope Norm goes above 0.8, ADX+ above ADX-, and stochastic above signal and 50. Exit when ADX+ crosses below ADX-, and TMA Slope norm drops back below 0.8. Opposite for shorts. Sorry if off topic, won't mention it again, just for the curious.

EDIT: Sorry for misleading, it's gonna be difficult to do a visual backtest, because the TMA Slope Norm repaints old data, so I guess the proof is in the forward testing. Alternatively use the TMA True which I think doesn't repaint. Sorry again.

Hi Peter, I'm not a coder and would be terrified to let loose any of my EA's, sorry about that, just don't wanna get burned, or anybody else!!
