Waited all week for trades on the H4. Lots of wavies. Few trend arrows, and they only paid out a little. Some faked me out.
I restart my server and reload everything.... Voila... Nice trades on the gbpjpy that were totally invisible until I refreshed :(

Looks can be deceptive...
You might care to use a teensy tad of whatever limited brainpower you have to do some proper reading and work out how to use HGI.

Bob sent me a real rant earlier today guys, so I am about to give Rio a taste of what I recommended Bob start dishing out. Bob's rant was basically about frustration with dimwits too stupid to grasp the essential simplicity of what he started off by offering up here. He has still to learn that there is only one way to deal with cretins, and that is the direct one. He is a nice guy.

I have learned to be less nice.

So here goes.

Rio, I would say that I am sorry that you are a moron far too stupid to be able to make use of the absolute gold offered here, but the fact is that you are.

Just in case that last paragraph was to complicated for you, I will break it down.

You are a moron.

You are too stupid to use HGI.

Crikey, I used more words in the original para than I needed, didn't I? I better look to my laurels there. I pride myself on brevity. Must stop using two syllable words and > 5 word sentences when dealing with morons.

Rio is about to find himself consigned to the bin of people unable to 'contribute' here. He will not be missed.

Now guys, I know some of you feel a tad touchy when I go off on one but I want you to consider this.

There are thousands of you.

There are just one of Bob, me, milanese, CJ, boldtrader etc.

There are times when those of you of a more moronic frame of mind drive us nuts. Ok, so I am more likely to express myself with a certain level of viciousness that the others do not indulge in, but do not feel even for a second that they do not occasionally feel equally vicious.

You guys are unbelievably lucky to have the stuff available that you have here at shf. Stop abusing it, ok?

Now, I am going to massively overreach myself here. This is Bob's thread and he is a mod here. I would not normally even have nightmares about doing what I am about to do.

This thread is now locked until Bob reopens it. Okay, so that might be in a few seconds. It might take a while. I have no idea. Frankly, I hope it is a while.

In the meantime folks, think about the gold you are being offered here and how much you would suffer if you lost it.

Then start using your brains and start thinking about how to use HGI instead of whinging about your own idiotic perceived shortcomings that the indi displays.

Capiche?

Post subject:  HGI Retracement

Jonathan2FI » Wed Feb 11, 2015 12:03 pm wrote:Hi Bob,
you mentioned a few many posts ago how you trade Rads - a light went on when you said this and I analysed and adopted a Retracement and Breakout split strategy on strong wavy trends with Rad arrows. ie I place both trades with half the risk.

My question concerns the retracements - I look at the distance of the Rad arrow from the Price Action and roughly double then look for any impediments with round numbers 000 and place the buy or sell limit accordingly e.g if a round number appears before my estimate on retracement then I place before the round number - I explained this in an earlier post. My question: How do you estimate the retracement depth with HGI?
Thanks Jonathan
Probably a MA would work best for the reentrance position. Here is a 7 MA shift 1 LWMA Median. You can see where the arrow pops up and the 7 MA gives you some good spots to enter and get out. You may only need to use the 7 MA or another you like better.

You could also drop to a lower TF and use the 28 MA or some other and get a more precise point to enter.

Another way is to play off of the xxx.100 lines (white) or the xxx.050 lines (blue) but that would take some skill in using those lines.

I have turned off all the alerts except for the wavy lines and you trade wavy to wavy. I think that is the most accurate for the 15M chart. This is a test version only and has not been tested on a live chart. Wavy lines only appear at the close of a candle so you can check every 15M if you wish.
May I ask a question on the new 16.04 1 Hour version? Using it on the 15m TF as indicated by Bob, does it use the 60 MA on the 1hr (15 on 4hr) or has it been programmed for something else? If so may I ask what parameters it’s using? I ask only because I noticed that the wavy lines move around a bit and would like to understand why. Usually if one is using a MTF indicator on a 15m chart but based on a higher TF say 1hr, once the 1hour candle prints that is it. Off course it can move or disappear in between. Is that the same here or is it looking at an even higher TF? Many thanks and once again thanks for the great indi.
It uses numbers and figures for the 1H chart. Not the same as 4H or MA lines etc. It should be used along with a higher TF confirmation. If higher TF is sell between wavies then go in the same direction on the 1H.

ok ........ UNLOCKED ............. I am working on an HGI simple which will take out many of the add ons and just be the basic signal system it was meant to be. If it tests out I will post it and if you want all the add ons and changes and whatever that will be done someplace else. HGI will remain simple.

I'm totally with you Bob! All the add ons tend to confuse people. Do I switch this on? Do I turn that off? Etc. Simple is best and it keeps the system pure. Can't wait to use it.
Good move! :good:

Hello Bob,

Thanks for your awesome work, it's unbelievable !

When i read this, i just hope you won't erase 16.04, for me it's PERFECT the way it is now, and my trading is totally dependent of 16.04

Even with a simpler version, you'll always have some morons with no brains

Damn... how can you say that HGI is complicated ?

1. Put HGI on your charts
2. Check trends on Daily TF (blue waves or big green/red arrows - start of the trend)
3. Open 4H timeframe
4. Trade only with dailt direction
5. Open trades on every blue or big green/red arrows
6. add on on RAD green/red arrows
7. Close the trades on yellow waves and/or range (against your trade) (or wait)
8. Close all trades (ALL) when you see yellow waves (or arrows) against your trades on Daily TF

It is so easy that you could trade HGI even if you would be blind..

And really if you can't make pips with HGI there is no system you could trade. Better leave forex at all then.
