Alorente,

I am glad to see you here. I have followed your Extreme TMA thread in its early stages to Bob which uses the roots of the Slope experimentation from your thread into the now dominant and well engineered CSS. With Bob and your guidance I have become more confident in my trading to date. I hope to surpass the 86 trade record one day as a goal. So far I am only up to 21. As I remember you are quite the scalper. If you could shed more light on the topic using these tools that would be greatly appreciated.

I thank you and Bob personally for your time and dedication to the trade. You gents will truly continue to be rewarded by your generosity.

Here is a great example of how to use TMA. As you can see from the pic, the H1 TMA was overlapping the H4 and turning down. It was a loud alarm to a potential turn in GBPCAD... You can plainly see what just happened. I cheated and even though the Dummy Bar was red, I took a short and profitted. It was just too good to let it go...

Hello Lion !! I remember you well...

Yes. I scalp a lot, which makes the 86 trades easier to understand. As long as I get 10 to 20 pips I am happy, so many times I will exit trades before I should, but I feel more relaxed doing so than holding on. Remember that I don´t use stop losses (Only at 200 pips for emergencies), so sometimes I will get into drawdown before the trade does what it is supposed to do. That is not for everyone...

The key is to trade small enough that you can give a trade time to do its thing. I also withdraw profits from the account every week, so the most I can lose is the balance on the account. Again, I do this for peace of mind... A relaxed trader is a profitable trader...

Hi BOB

I recall your excitement when you first came across AL`s extreme TMA system. It is very exciting t have AL here as well. I am glad you have managed to sell the school because it was very demanding on your time plus the fact that getting used to the bureaucracy of china is not easy. Are you going to be lecturing at Nanning university again? I know Steve and other members in England would be very happy to see you in person. So whenever you decide to come to Europe let us know and we can arrange a get together in London.

hi guys a lot of catching up to do, lots of great posts, steves stoch ea which i had loaded on some charts today havent opened trades, just using ootb settings, smiley face etc all ok, but gbpaud CT trade long using the ea didnt open and the stoch has touched 80 any thoughts, cheers

Hi alorente, Nanningbob and all,

both of you have similar trading styles:

Banking the winning pips ( 10, 20, 40 or something similar) fast, don’t aim for the big winning trade.

High percentage of winning trades. (because of realising profits fast).

Stop losses are far away from price or only emergency stops, BUT trading with small lots.

Your suppose to take shorts on red dummy bars. :) You probably meant green. If you note high end charts like daily that is the 9th time price has hit the R location and I was on every one after the first. A weekly shows 6 rejections at that R area the last 9 weeks so its a great trade. I have picked up 420 pips the last 2 weeks playing that bounce off of the top. The TMA shows these trades much better.

Hopefully I wont have visa problems again this year and later I will be able to make a trip to Europe and hang around. Slowing but surely the old FF gang is regrouping here and we have a million thanks to Steve for that. I did a post at FF factory on a thread and got greeted by some that havent seen me in a while. It was good to visit and see how some others have been doing. Steve is well known over there and some have been following us here. I having a discussion with a guy who had not heard that much about me but was promoting the .02 lot size per thousand. We were kind of surprised to see each other and meet and compare notes. Funny how there really is nothing new under the sun.
