That is always the best way to learn to trade, live trading. I loved the USA penny brokers but they are a dead breed. I mean if you trade one penny lots and it goes 1000 points against you its 10 bucks. The phrase never let your losers run is really where I learned Forex. Letting penny trades run and see if I could get out of the mess let me learn how the market breathes and moves. How it moves in waves up and down angling up/down as it moved up and down.I would then trade until I was comfortable with anything the market did. I made a rule to not let my account go over 20% in the hole and I traded to my hearts content. I learned to trade in a way that lets me trade another day.
Bob,
You are Extremely right and I can give VIVID Testimony as Someone who has had that Scenario Happen to me as Recently as the last 48 Hours.

I seem to remember someone writing about this before but I cannot find it within the thread. On would enter on a wavy trend and exit on wavy range. This may not be great for forex but as I trade quite a lot of stocks and commodities this style suits me. Thanks in advance
Not really wave to wave, but similar.
SL=100, BE@100 and then let the wave close it again.

I am pretty sure Oanda still allows you to trade penny or smaller on their web terminal, you can use the Empty4 to get the signals and enter them manually into the web terminal ( more work, but for those who are not ready for bigger trades, might be worth it)

Thanks for that. 3 questions if I may?

1) What is the entry trigger if not trend wave?
2) What period is this for - chart reads 2015 - 2020 so I assume thats a typo. Is it for one month?
3) I see the 5m TF - is that for just for the MM EA? I assume you are trading H4 or D1

Thanks again

Hi,

1. Trend, wave and rad
2. 2,5 weeks, started the week after the CHF intervention
3. It's D1, the M5 is indeed for MPTM.

Best,

Gertjan if you don't mind me asking which pairs do you trade? I can see many as me trade 18 or more pairs. Do you do the same or concentrate on the more liquid ones?

Just an observation on GBPJPY 15min...noticed when blue(trend) and red(range) waves touch each other(circled red in the attached chart), the force of the move is much stronger...I will try to forward test it while banking pips. Many thanks Bob and others for this fantastic indicator....first time in my 10 yrs of forex nightmares, never felt more confident in trading.

I used to trade 26 (not EURCHF and EURGBP), and deleted all CHF pairs after the 'event'. HGI can't be trusted with such huge spike in recent history.

So 20 pairs right now.

So you do not look at 4hr at all? If you get a D1 signal do you check what H4 is doing?
Thanks
