I think I have finally fixed the SL AND TP.

SL = support_lo - buffer/resistance_hi + buffer.

TP = 0.8 x atr

This is easier than setting TP at daily pivots. When I have found a way to do this, I will add this as an option.

We will see when Frankfurt opens tomorrow.

Still hoping that a qualified coder will take over further development of this ea, and make this his/her ea. I would be extremely grateful. Done as much as I can as a non coder.

Here is MTF stochastic indicator which can come in handy if you would like to trade H4 stochs on a H1 time frame. Just set time frame to 240.

Sorry for the mess. I had already given up on the project some time ago as there appear to be no interest by our coders here.

However, with Slipshod sharing the SS_SR library code, I just started tinkering with it with no idea if it will work or not, so here we are. My main intention is to stir up enough interest so that a properly qualified coder would accept the challenge. As you can see, up till now, no one has come forward.

I am hoping that if a "skeleton" ea with the barest minimum can show even a glimmer of potential, some kind soul would step in.

You will need the all the SS-SR files from Steve's Pinnoccio ea. I will post them here in the morning.

The mqh file goes into experts/include, the LibSSSR.mq4 into experts/libraries, and SS_SR indi into experts/indicators folder.

Did you ask someone directly ? You have here prepared a lot of good stuff. Even an EA is ready - although with bugs as you say ... so in this stage I think you could easy cause interest of the well known coders here in SH's forum ...

I am sure someone must have coded an ea using the SS-SR LIBRARY codes, it just has not surfaced yet if ever.

To ask someone to code an ea, first you have to trade the strategy on a live account, then to show proof that it is profitable. I cannot satisfy this basic requirement. I have traded this strategy, but my live account is mixed with other methods plus trading cfd's.

This section is only for IDEAS FOR POSSIBLE AUTOMATION, NOT FOR A FULLY WORKING BOT.

If no coder comes forward, the project will end here.

The supdem ea is finally setting its sl and tp today, but I cannot swear by their accuracy.

MY PROJECT ENDS HERE BECAUSE I AM NOT A CODER, HENCE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DO ANY DEBUGGING.

I posted my idea here to invite coders to take up the challenge.

PLEASE DO NOT ASK ME IF THERE ARE ANY BUGS. I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO HELP.

Presently I am running the ea on demo on H1 TF with H4 STOCHS filter. Will post the results in a few days.

A bit of about the supdem ea settings.

Bufferpips is the pending order +/- buffer.

SRBufferPips is the number of pips price need to enter the SR zones to trigger a trade. Set to zero to allow touch and reverse.

Disable the 240ma filter by setting MaPeriod to zero.

Set UseStoch to false to disable.

StrategyExit if set to true sets sl = res_hi + buffer/sup_lo - buffer. Set to false to use hard sl value.

TP set at atr x 0.8 using atr settings.

I haven't found a way to set trade half usual lot size for CT TRADES. This is on my wish list plus adding weights to the SR zones.
