Hi all, below my 1HR basket started midnight Sunday. Does anybody have experience in using SL (ie. 100) on the 1HR? As you can see a few of the GBP trades are deep in DD, might consider putting a default SL of 100 when I start the next basket. Ofcorse this is a double edge sword! Thanks for any input, PC |

From a general point of view SL 100 is perhaps a good number itself, but is it really good to a SL ? Anyway - the best would be you try it out forward ! Set up a MFXBook account for a close watching. :hi: |

Not sure pipcruiser, the EA is running without interference... I just noticed these trades this morning. Also the corresponding buy trades were closed a short while earlier, then the 2 sell trades taken & closed soon after. All the more reason to be careful if trading this EA on a live account! |

Have closed some positions manually yesterday to allow me to shift my charts to H1 live trading. Lets see... settings same as the 15min before of course except timeframeinput :hi: Also now i have closures set to 1% of 1k in cash equivalent via MPTM. |

Am I dreaming, or remembering something from a different EA, or did I once post about the strange closure of a trade? Not sure, but I have this dim recollection of a trade closing before the market crossed the MA to t'other side. Try to post a pic of anything untoward folks - best if it is taken as soon after the event as possible. The Moving Average trend detection code is pretty straightforward and I could have written it on my second day of coding this stuff and it has been used countless times before, so I do not believe there is anything wrong there (famous last words?). On t'other hand, my mistrust of CrapQlx and CrapTx is total. My fault or theirs, it helps if we can track down a blip.  |

Price is currently playing around the H4 240 SMA (Open prices), which will explain the closures. |

my 1 hour test is way different than fxozgirl. Mine is currently in a 858 pip drawdown. This is using OOTB settings with only changing the time to 60. looking forward to more testing, seeing how things turn out. |
