Hi Whip. Which pairs are those? This EA likes long trends with little retraces. Which ones -from your experience- tend to behave this way most of the time?

Spotted this, posted 3rd April on PFGBest website:

"Empty4 Hedging

PFGBEST will now allow forex traders platform hedging capability on the Empty4. Clients will be allowed to carry offsetting positions on the platform, while continuing to offset in a First-In, First-Out (FIFO) manner via BARS. NFA has approved for PFGBEST to do so, to solve any limitations that had existed for ExpertAdvisors and other automated systems. To compensate for differing pip values when converting P/L, daily balance updates will be done to the platform to keep balances in line."

Works on demo account, haven't tried live.

Linked this in post 1. It looks as though these US dimwit crims are recognising that they are losing business and starting to bow to the pressure. Next thing for you guys to deal with will be the FIFO nonsense.

At least I hope this helps some of our cousins in Republika Amerika - a few traders I know regard PFGBEST as one of the better crims over there and hopefully, as you infer, it might be the start of a backlash against the cr@p they've had to deal with recently. :roll:

I'm trying to test multiple setups for this EA. I have 3 setups x 3 pairs on one Empty4 account. I made sure to give each of the charts a different magic number so trades don't get mixed up, but still I've seen some "early" closures at breakeven: Having set LookforBreakevenAfter to 4 (default) the EA closes the basket at soon after it has opened the 3rd trade in either direction (just when it's starting to pick a direction)... So I'm thinking the problem I'm experiencing definitely has to do with this function.... Does it work by looking at the number of trades per PAIR or per Magic Number? If its per pair, I might have to split my demos up and just take one EA of each pair for each account.

Thanks. I'm trying to figure out why would the EA close the basket at the 3rd open trade when LookforBreakevenAfterTrades = 4...
