Hi All,

Thanks for posting my addition Steve :)

I should complete my explanation as I realised there was a small typo (serves me right for writing an email whilst trying to wrangle kids!)

My standpoint was to draw a line in the sand by taking the account equity when we first open a trade on a pair we're running Candle Power on. I then calculate the equity change that is happening as a result of only trading on this pair by Candle Power. So the account equity changes that are happening by other EA's or on other pairs have no impact on this calculation.

I'm then looking to hit a target equity value based on a percentage entered by the user to close out all the trades of this pair, so that we can rinse & repeat and start again.

There might (separately) be an argument for allowing a similar process but across _all_ candle power pairs, thereby allowing some pairs to offset others.

But hey, let's walk before we run. :)

I must read this code carefully for my own learning purposes but in the meantime a little info for you all.

I don't know what pairs you are trading with CP, but on GTWV I have started trading NOKSEK.

In my testing it became clear the factor function was returning incorrect values for SL and TP's added for this pair.

SEK should be removed from line 3316 otherwise it returns values 10 times greater than is correct for the SEK.

+228 pips today so far but sitting on a -363 pip drawdown atm :cry: GBPUSD mainly will be interesting to see if it can recover. 5 buy orders active atm on the pair.

The negative correlated pairs idea I had is not working out.....almost %100 trades but what good is that with a boat load of DD....guess should have seen that train coming. :arrrg:

Had Simple offset on....don't see any offset trades so far so am activating complex also at this time....running CP on M15, H1 and H4.

Edit 10-3-17: got offset trades now...my H1 charts not doing near as good as last week so trying V1e again on Gold just in case it makes a diff....i know a long shot and could just be market but checking anyways.

Got my first HGI closes on the H4 set today :cheer: Definitely a slower pace than M5 so perhaps good multipair.

Does anyone have difficulty in loading the EA onto a pair? I am continuing to get error code 8 which is "Too frequent requests". I have never run into this problem before and nothing I do in trying to solve it works.
Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'll stick my head up and risk saying that I don't think there is code behind the "TradeLong", "TradeShort" user input options. I did check the code to the best of my ability after seeing this below. "TradeShort" is set to false.

These inputs need removing - I forgot. Remove them and recompile, then follow the red error messages to the lines of code in DisplayUserFeedback() that are causing the errors.
