Hi Akib...it was a pleasure to make a donation for such a great cause. It was done with a tear in my eye- and a prayer later.

My fiance is a stage 4 cancer survivor, 6 years and counting. We live in California and had the great benefit of her treatment being done at Stanford- one of the best Cancer treatment centers in the world. This is what they told us to do before she was to come home.

Any pet animals must be put outside and kept out. Many (like me) consider their pets cherished family members. Kitty-cat or needed guard dog, doesn't matter- they must go out.

Before she came home, we did a complete cleaning of the house, espesially the floors and sprayed everything with disinfectant. Allow the dust to settle for a day before she comes home.

No visitors, unless nessessary for your mom's care. One person in and out of the room to care for her. Well wishers that come to visit must not be allowed into her room. Messages can be relayed by that one person.

I don't know about your country, but here it is customary for people to send or bring flowers or other gifts. Absolutely not. (They have tons of germs) Return them with your thanks.

It's tough to tell friends and family that they can'y come in to visit, but it's very, very important.

can i just say one thing to all who have supported and helped alpenkorps through this difficult time.

Take a moment to really think what has happen here. most of us dont know alpenkorps in person, just from reading his post here and messaging with him, yet people from different countries, race, gender and religion saw a person in need and instantly knew what was the right thing to do.

with all that is going on in this world, it truely warms my heart and brings tears to my eyes to see that there are still good people that do what is right.

Take a moment to really think what has happen here. most of us dont know alpenkorps in person, just from reading his post here and messaging with him, yet people from different countries, race, gender and religion saw a person in need and instantly knew what was the right thing to do.

I couldn't have said it more eloquently.

And most amazing of all not one person mentioned who they were praying to, where they were going to do it, the right/wrong way of doing it--when you strip away all the layers we humans create then-- "we instantly knew what was the right thing to do..."

I've been trying to create an EA on a different post that I want to share with this community...its been bloody hard work but I would never have considered doing it any where else. Now I know why.

If we held a competition I would have betted "Alpenkorps..." was German ha ha :lol: :lol:

Thank you for your kind words Pooler. This thread here, at this very new forum, for a very different purpose, how everyone prayed and helped for a totally strange person, its a documented proof that humanity is still alive. I don't know what to say, its a miracle that my mom got a chance to survive and I got a chance to get her back.

Many people asked me before if I am German, I used to be a hardcore COD (call of duty) player, I took Alpenkorps as my gaming nick after the bravest mountain troops of the world.

I am trying to put together all the Paypal donation I have received. I got 3 donations to my email, rest was sent to the Paypal Sgt. Forex kindly provide(many many Thanks to him). I have asked him to send me a detail list kindly so the first post of this thread updated. All donations will be listed.

I am heading to the hospital now. Hospital will keep her there at maximum 5 days as a part of the operation package. I'll have to talk with the authority to extend this period.

Hey there,
sry for my late reply to the thread. Had a crazy start of the week... But everything is ok.
In total i have collected donations of about 1142,06 EUR via PayPal.
280 EUR have allready been payed last week with the last WU transfer.
So there are 862,06 EUR remaing to be transfered. At the moment the money is beeing transfered from my PayPal account to my Bank account.
As soon as the money is banked i will do a wire transfer to Akibs bank account.
Additionaly i will provide a list with all the names and email adresses of the donators to Akib.

So for the first page, PayPal donations in total: 1142,06 EUR

I hope the money is enough to keep his mom as long in hospital as she needs to be in...

I wish your mom all the best and a quick recovery. May the light come back into both of your lives.
If there is anything more i can do for you, don`t hesitate to contact me via mail!
