This is the case. If you open the EA or Indi in metaquotes, the author typically writes the version number in the first lines of code, so you can confirm. I rename old version file names with version numbers in case of need to revert and archive them.

Ah, thanks Foreverforex - I thought I was going mad - I seemed to be going round in circles back to Post 1 and then thinking perhaps folk were referring to a post 1 in another thread.

Or you could read my posts. They tell you where to find the latest version. Astonishingly, this is always in post 1. I am happy to confirm this now, as you have persuaded others to tell you how to find it. They are most generous. Even in a Dummies' thread, I would not have been so kind. A certain amount of basic thinking is necessary even in the most supportive of forums, and they don't come much more supportive than SHF.

Still unable to get anything beyond HGB v1z to actually take trades. Have updated to HGI 15.06 and HGB 2c on a 1 minute chart, all settings OOTB for testing purposes EXCEPT I upped the max daily profit to 1000 because it was showing daily target reached when I first put the EA on the chart. Is it possible that running HGB v1z on my other 4 hour charts is somehow preventing HGB 2c from working properly? (FYI- all are individually named (Holy Graily Bob v1z, Holy Graily Bob v2c)to, I thought, avoid this conflict. I'm utterly stumped as to why the updated versions won't take any trades while 1z takes them just fine. Any assistance here will be gratefully received.

No- I wasn't because it was just a test to see if I could get it take a trade. I just changed to a different magic number, and still no trade taken on the signal. So I remain in the dark. Don't quite understand the 'words fail me' - obviously I'm doing something wrong, being new at this I can't figure out what it is so I'm asking for help in the newbie thread.

I have setup the hgi ea on a few charts to try it out on demo but I keep getting the message global profit target reached even though no trades have been taken as yet. Is there something I'm missing?
