However I occasionally get a random trade as well.

MAD-EA has not been coded to send 'random' trades. What you call 'random' can may be not explained instantly, but there is a sequence of code instructions that lead the EA to sending that trade. This is totally deterministic and repeatable. There is no voodoo at work here.

With the default setttings no trades for I think at least 2 days. With Wavegarrick settings (which I put 2 hours ago) it started opening trades from the very first moment!

Still learning the system. I hope I can run my own experiments soon

As like other MA's settings in OOTB, may i request you to add Applied Price and Shift parameter for both Fast and Slow MA's of TradingTimeFrame.

For your info, these sort of posts are not very helpful without a set-file. Without knowing your settings, my guess is that either: (1) You have set the BasketSL to a positive number, or (2) You have set the 'Close unprofitable trades after xxx seconds' to 0. Both would mean that the trades are closed instantly, and would indicate that you prefer to write a stupid post than to read the manual.

As mentioned before, MAD-EA is a tool, that needs to be handled by a craftsman. Someone who can read and think for him/her self. If that is not you, don't use it. If you are using a hammer and hit your fingers instead of the nail, are you going to write a snotty note to the hammer manufacturer saying: "Your hammer is causing grievous bodily harm". Come on!

UseMAFilter (Default: true):
If set to true, the EA works out the direction of the Filter MA for that symbol and next higher timeframe.

does it mean for example i set FilterMAPeriod 50, It will test the direction of filterMAperiod on each TF available ? The inconvenient here I may be wrong the currency strengh momentum should be miss because the 50 MAperiod on H4 TF could be different direction than the 50 MAperiod on 15m TF right and the signal would be filtered out right ?.

Let's use an example. You have specified to use timeframes M5, M15, M30, H1 and H4. For EURUSD, you get an UP arrow on M5 and an UP arrow on M15. With UseMAFilter == true, these UP arrows are filtered. That means that these UP arrow can be taken down (but not reversed). The filter condition for the (EURUSD, M5) UP arrow is, that the direction of the MA on the next higher time frame (i.e. M15) is also UP. So, it works out the MA[0] (the current candle) and MA[1] (the previous candle) on M15, and compares these two values. If MA[0] is higher than MA[1], it means that the direction of the MA on timeframe M15 is also UP, so it is in agreement with the M5 UP arrow. If, however, the direction of the MA on M15 was DOWN, it would contradict the UP arrow on M5, and therefore the UP arrow would not be displayed.

Similarly, the UP arrow on M15, is filtered by looking at the direction of the MA on M30 (again the next higher timeframe).

This filter was specified by George, who has been using this technique for years. Now that you know the mechanics of it, may be George can add how and why he has been using this for his manual trading.

Let's use an example.

This filter was specified by George, who has been using this technique for years. Now that you know the mechanics of it, may be George can add how and why he has been using this for his manual trading.

I like to trade an established trend and it can only be on a HTF. I wait for pullback from that established trend to join the trend when price resumes the original trend. Resumption/movement will first start on the LTF but I am only interested in joining the trend if the LTF is moving in the direction of the HTF, which is the established trend. This is why I want every LTF to be in agreement with the immediate HTF b4 any signal. I am not immediately interested in CT trades unless there is structure to it and that structure is just hinting of possible reversal in the attached instrument/pair.

The attached GBPJPY chart is self explanatory and should illustrate the point.

And the attached dashboard shows why trading GBPJPY right now will be a bad idea and time waster. We need to wait for break of recent swing high/low with MAD confirmation before considering the pair. This is what the dashboard does for us.
