Hi Diego,
I am looking at your set file now and below is an image of it.. Pound and Cad are highlighted in green and Euro in Red so you should be getting a Eurgbp and Eurcad sell. Your dashboard appears to be fine.
Cheers
Leon

Hi Wavegarrick,!
This is what I got... seems to be slightly different (it's exactly the same setfile). Colors are all over the place, not sure if that's how it's supposed to be.
However, despite of this MADDY signals + the movement i'm observing in the pairs.... the trades are very scarce..!
Am I doing something wrong?
Diego

Just to add on if you look at the little blocks that are highlighted it tells you that the 8 and 15 ma are crossing over on the particular time frame, like Gbpnzd is crossing over on the 30 min t/frame in the picture.. As long as there are 4 arrows under each t/frame the Gbp column will be highlighted because you have specified at least 4 same signals for each time frame for the currency strength check.
Lets move on ...Now you must look at global variables F3 you should have Eurgbp and Eurcad being readied for a trade also depends if you have the same scenario on your side...however Cad was only highlighted for a few seconds but eurgbp should appear in your global variables. Just check if you have Eurcad as well and let me know

It's been readied for a trade but nothing still..
Perhaps trading conditions are way too agile to be able to track correctly. I'm gonna try M15-H1 to see if this helps giving some consistency to the signals and less jumping around

Hello again Maddy experts. A question that just came to mind:
What do this "Blank" spaces in the maddy charts mean?
Aren't the crossing MA's should NECESSARILY be signaling either "up" or "down"?. what to make out of a blank?
I've got plenty of this, as opposed to several other screenshots I've seen in the thread that show arrows in either direction in pretty much all of the tables of Maddy.

To save Leon from answering I will try to explain.
Maddy has a lookback period and in setfile is set to 240 minutes. So it looks last 4 hours what is happening to get fresh signals and not stale ones.
Since 15/8 cross did not happen in that time it remain blank. Increase lookback and you will have all spaces filled but will not get fresh signals.
Hope it helps.

Below is last test running, OOTB except with "Trade both directions" and lot size 0.01, going just for 40 hours so far, being the DD at the moment a bit more than the realized profit.
What I would like to call your attention for is the unbalance between Buy and Sell trades (see below detail for EURUSD):
Although the Max Difference is set to 2, groups of Sell trades are closing without closing any Buy, causing this situation.
This is an important part of the problem, so we should figure a solution.
One possible improvement could be when unbalance is more than max_unbalance input, then only close trades of a direction with at least 1 trade of opposite direction.
Thanks!

Hi,
I can just say big THANKS to Rene for coding this EA and synchronize it with MADDY.
Why trading in both directions when you have a super tool that can point you in right direction.
Like you are lost in woods and have compas in your pocket but do not want to use it.
Anyway I am testing this toy for 3 days and here are my results using 0.05 lots and was never in DD more then 1%.
I have a question for Rene if you have time for answering is How you determine anchor point ? Is it last opened order or something else cause sometimes it sells almost at bottom not waiting for a little more of pullback.
Keep up good work. I am amazed by your coding skills . Big cudos for you.
