Gann Hilo also complements my system so I think this would be a good addition to my system.

Anyway a good start and combinations being tested on demo.

Sadly for you Guys in the US trading comes at a huge disadvantage. Firstly hedging wont be allowed and secondly you would have to obey the FiFo rules.

I would probably close a basket if I was in your shoes. The entry is always the easy part but managing your trades thereafter is the hard part and it seems that the US makes it even harder for you Guys :arrrg:
You would have to make the choice if you want to follow the 70% exit rule or or close when you get an overall reversal signal. Fortunately you are trading on demo so you can play with this.

You need:
MTF Hgi bars TD
Baluda Superslope TD
GannHilo TD
STO7 D1 MA TREND 10S MA LWMA TD

I will update Pg1 of this thread with the developments on TDesk over the weekend.

Sure, trading from the US sucks in a very big time, but there are always something to get around those ridiculous rules.

Like the HGI system. It's "simplicity" and it's very smart and robust structure allows even me to trade great and not to cry over and rules or limitations.

Yes, you are totally right: i must close the basket at a certain point - which for me is the Asian hours and before the European open. In Los Angeles, the European session starts at midnight - so i cannot always be there to watch the trades or the basket, also - yesterday before i went to sleep, the basket reached to +650 pips, but then the EU session started and when i woke up, the basket went down to +250 pips.
Somehow i expected this, as usually the EU session turns the direction to the opposite way after the Asian session (please, correct me if i'm wrong!), but i wanted to see how things would work out without any manual interventions over the night.

During the day, i would manage the running trades following the 70% rule.

Cannot wait to go to live, what do you guys suggest for the account size, if i trade all the 28 pairs with 0.01? I assume $5000 is more than enough?

My trades just over a week and some. I finally closed the last batch with hedged trades, today at 500 pips. Something I could not have imagined in my wildest dreams with manual trading :clap: :clap: .

I started a new batch today with Thomas's latest enhancements and additions in V1.4. You will find the TDesk master at http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... 106&t=5522.

I have taken an interest in the TDesk concept and have all the necessary indicators etc.

I have found this thread to have the trading style similar with mine.

Are you considering to clean up Post #1 and share the current chart template?

I think I have mostly setup my chart same as yours, even have some of the same trades, just need some confirmation.

I think I read that you didn't trade all pairs? Just wondering why you took NZDCHF long but not AUDCHF or EURCHF?

Hello Leon,

Beautiful results!!!!

I started to use the new TDesk and it's V2 indicators yesterday - it seems to put out faster signals, but i don't have enough data yet to compare the old and the new version.

The new version still has that interesting issue, where you have to "reset" the TDesk chart to refresh the signals - either switch between the timeframes, but i usually just close down the Empty4 and re-open it regulary. I've seen this with the old version, too. First i used the TDesk on my laptop and for the last few days I'm running everything on VPS - but the issue still exists. Basically you can see some signals change when you freshly re-open the chart.

This whole setup is mindblowing, can't thank all of you enough!

Hi John, Yes I will clean up post 1 as soon as we get all the indicators in line with the latest enhancements and querries that are coming through. Thomas is doing a great job behind the scenes. I was going to do it over the weekend but do realize that Thomas is dealing with current issues and continuously updating. My hats off to him :hi:

I trade all pairs now that Tdesk has become available to us. Something I could never imagine doing in the past. NzdChf trade was opened on a prior signal. Audchf and Eurchf was opened after the snapshot. I do not close at the blink of a signal becoming flat. From my dealings with this system it becomes an edge when the signal is given and that is what I stick with. No frills no fancies ;)

Awesome results Leon congrats! Please notice we had some killer trend moves last weeks where other systems (countertrend/chop strategies) failed or had a difficult time. I hope your idea will survive the doldrums also.
