Shelley's multi-pair basket trader

I started mine at London open today. Not sure what it got to during the London session, but it had about $150-250 open profit all day through the NY session. There's about $230 open now. I thought I would have the EA close my positions instead of closing them all manually, so I set up a 200 pip TP -- nothing. 100 pip TP -- nothing. Then I set it to a $10 cash TP and that worked. Hm.

I did something similar Gary but it worked ok. I actually closed 3 baskets that way as I ran another couple of tests. Did you make the pip/point change?

No, I'm running OOTB except for start time &etc. The Comment field said my initial 400-pip basket stop was 4000 points, which I think is right for my 5-digit crim.

That's the issue then Gary as the problem wasn't with the basket stop value but the running basket profit value - that was out by a factor of 10 for the 5 digit crims.

D'oh!! I diagnosed the problem earlier but never fixed my own copy, and forgot that it would affect things that way.

Totally agree with you Garyfritz. It's classic. But then another issues comes in line.
If you set your SL = 100 pips for instance, and the EA trades 10 pair, you have on average about 10 pips left for each currency to go against you. Pretty narrow corridor for maneuvering. In this case one may consider cutting down the number of pairs EA trades.
So, would it be possible to add a function to set number of simultaneously traded pairs in EA?

You can edit already the currencies you want to use in the external variable 'PairsToTrade'.

One feature of Steve's Basket Multi-pair Auto-trading Robot at ff has a stop button where you can hold and drag to stop the EA from trading, and another start button to restart the EA. This feature is helpful when you want to stop the EA from generating trades and resume later (start button) when your profit turns positive. It has also a close all feature where all you trades will be closed.

Steve As per shelly's request we need to change the WOH calculation.She is telling about 2x1 histogram in a daily chart.

What we have in the EA is this :
//Woh market direction since week open
double wo = iMA(symbol,PERIOD_W1,1,0,MODE_SMA,PRICE_OPEN,0);

But i think it should be

double wo = iMA(symbol,PERIOD_W1,2,1,MODE_LWMA,PRICE_OPEN,0);

Please correct me if i am wrong.
