I like 10.6 a lot. The only slight weakness it has is that it issues a substantial percentage of false signals. I have been looking at the good signals as compared to the not so good ones and I find that in the better ones, the D1 Sto7 is going with the flow of the trade. The trades that go nowhere usually have the D1 Sto7 against the trade. Would it be to our advantage to have a third dummy light for D1 to the left of the H4? That would allow entering the trade without changing time frame to D1 to check out the Sto7 position. |

You can profit by comparing the relative position of the H4 TMA´s for two pairs. Example: Look at the relative position of the EurUsd H4 TMA with relation to the D1 TMA. The H4 has started the way down towards the D1 bottom band but it still has a long way to go. Now do the same comparison with GbpUsd. As you can see, the GU H4 TMA has dropped much more and is getting close to the D1. Both still have to fall, but EU has to fall more to get there. What does this tell you? It tells me that a short of EurGbp is a good bet. No guarantees though ... |

To expand on the above: The different positioning of both H4s should show as an opportunity in the EurGbp chart and in fact it does. H4 has overlapped D1 and has turned sideways. Also, if you have TSI, you can clearly see a triple divergence on H4 with relation to price. All we need to do is wait for a 10.6 signal and Bingo... Disclaimer: No guarantees...  |

All I have changed for testing is I have put the DP on just my 1H chart and change the TMA settings to extern string TimeFrame = "current time frame"; extern int HalfLength = 20; extern int Price = PRICE_CLOSE; extern double ATRMultiplier = 1.5; extern int ATRPeriod = 100; extern bool Interpolate = true; Everything remains the same. I am testing 90.10 setting on sto7 instead of 80.20 with price going beyond the TMA top or bottom bands. If STO7 sends a warning and price is still inside the TMA bands then I am not touching the trade for now. So just take your 10.6 screen add the TMA with these settings and you have what I am playing with. |

Here is a very important detail of MTF TMA that you must understand if you want to trade well with it: As you can see in the chart, the H4 TMA of EurUsd is dropping at a -0.33 slope. That´s pretty steep !! How come price isn´t falling then? You may ask... The answer is the H1 TMA is in its up cycle, within the H4 TMA. I have extended the lines on both to show what is likely to happen for a few more days. After that, the H1 should turn down and both H1 and H4 will be working in sync. That´s when the drop should come and probably steepen the H4 TMA slope... Remember to look at the 50 Bars Back indi. If you check it in H1 time frame, you can see that the bars to the right of the line show a lower level than current price, which means that price does not have to rise more for the H1 TMA to continue to climb... |
