Hi guys ! :hi:

A short comment/correction:
Bcz of shifting to the new EA v2g I switched of the actual four HGB platforms.
The first attempts of daily trading the HGB (2b) did show pretty good results.
Will attach the 4 new acc's via MFXBook asap. And I changed a bit the setfiles: included are now rap trades, but as formerly provided no wave, no range trades.
Only pendig trades are used.

Ok here we go ! :hi:

Added in the "portfolio" now are 3 acc's of the mentioned above HGB test.

Dunno why - but didnt get the email with PW's for "HGB1" from metaquote by any reason ...

Attached are the 4 setfiles for this run on daily (!). They show the strategy in my use of the HGB atm.

Added an acc with wave line trading included now, the MM ist more strictly and limiting.

Have no hope for the SB and SBB. So I anbandoned them and these 2 bots are moved into the "TGTFX2" archive ! :roll: :cry:

And yes - the HGB5 thingy wasn't a good idea - either the SL is to small or it isn't useful in general ?

So yes, of course, the CHF massacre today had a big influence on the "portfolio" ! :shock: :o :arrrg:

Lost the HGB1,2,3,4 accounts (HGB v2g). They are in the TGTFX2 archive now.

But most important for me: the Matilda survived with the GBPUSD pair ... and only with GBPUSD.
The oldest acc (since may, GP 18) is dead bcz of trading the EURCHF/NZDCHF pairs simultaneously on this account. The crash has nothing to do with the GBPUSD trades !
BUT:
In some cases the EURCHF/NZDCHF trades were at the "right" side and so they gave big gains ! But all that was only luck.
In any case we see it again and again - without any stop grid trading is the most dangerous trading type at all. And like now today - in the situation of a black swan you haven't a chance !
So I abandoned most of the Matildas (EURCHF/NZDCHF) ... good bye !
I let the 4 acc's in the portfolio using only GBPUSD ... they presumably recover. BUT, who knows ... every currency/pair make suffer from a "black swan" ... today it was CHF, tomorrow it'll be GBP, USD ? :uff: :youknow: :roll: :?

Anyway - at the end of this day we all got again another valuable lesson about the forex battle.

The Matilda is for me now only a third choice, may be she is a bit safer in the shape of modifications like "Matilda II" or "Matilda WW" - these two bots remain in the portfolio too.

No clear results I got for the 4 bots Jose coded recently - ZODIACO, MULTISECRET, MULTIFRACTALATED and MULTIHGB. I think the actual big gain in the MULTIHGB was luck being at the "right" side. :?

So what do we have now ?

1. The actual favorite is the Pipcruiser's Pipmasher ! Only this obe survived today ... and the last weeks as well.
2. The HGB/HGI: looking for better setfiles, based on my own demos and watching others here + waiting their results ... yeh it would be great to get an appropriate setfile allowing gains close to the holi gral ....
3. The Matilda (original/modoficated) is only a possible way, most dangerous ... but I think she isn't out ... so far :roll: :?

It seems to me, that the MFXB link method "AutoUpdate" doesn't work atm (since yestarday ?!) ... have 2 accs linked via the EA, this metods works. Anyone experiencing the same prob ? :oops: :?

So its time to say good by to the Matilda ! Yes ! You can see in the appropriate accs what happened know. Altough she was doing a pretty good job for months, she is now in biggest trouble ! So we see - only one time being on the wrong site and follwing a strong trend will kill the account.
Even gaining a lot it may in any case ride deeper and deeper ... who knows ? A trend may run and run and run - and the account may die sooner or later !
Maybe these 4 demos with the original Matilda will survive ... but nothing to say: its to dangrous for life trading ... or someone likes gambling ... ok in that case: do it ! :uff: :lol:

Maybe I let the Matilda modifications (Matilda II, WW) run for a while, they are more stable, but finally they are grid traders as well ! Hmmm ... :? :? :?

So I think atm the only appropriate candidate for me is "Pipcruisers Pipmasher" - this one is an honest soul ! No grids, no martingale ... simple, classic trend trading ! :good:
(Tweaking now some more different setfiles on some demos ... lets see in some months what's the best one!)

Have on two demos as well the "FirstStrike Plus" EA (http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... f=5&t=3946) - Tommaso even yesterday posted a new improved version. But a test of this EA requires weeks, months ... ;) (Will post the MFXB links if a tendency for positive results becomes clear).

Perhaps the ThreeLittlePigs (http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... f=5&t=3343) are worth a test ! But this one must last even longer then all the others I mentioned ! "ForexDans" did it one year and only recently he gave a sign anew. Again, Tommaso posted some days ago an update of this EA for the newer Empty4 builds !

And yes of course I'm tweaking to find a good setting the HGB and the HGI Hurst Trader like many others here too ! Actually I have included the examples of two HGB-demos. :cheer:

Today I said good by to the Matilda ... in her original form.
She was (or is ?) a good girl ... but she's to risky (to hot :lol: ) for me !
So I wouldn't call her a looser ! You may win - but a lot of luck is needed, being on the "right" site you will win, but never ever get into a trend against you - the desaster will kill your account, even if it is a bigger one ! :shock:
I moved the 4 platforms running all the time in the MANDL acc now into the TGTFX2 archive.
Instead of the original Matilda I let now these modifications doing the job:
Matilda II
Matilda WW 4H 2
Matilda WW 4H 3
Matilda S+R

Furthermore I'll add the "ThreeLittlePigs" (I hope the markets will fatten them :) ).
Also I like the "FirstStrike" EA. Tweaking this one atm - will post a link asap.

AND yes: the Pipcruiser's Pipmasher is a great bot ! Atm my number one !

I'm looking for optimized settings for the HGI bots - HGB, HGI Hurst and BoHGB (like many others here). In fact so far unfortunately I dont succed.
