Khalid, would it be possible to see a summary of your results, e.g. total P/L per day over the last N days? The daily per-symbol trade-by-trade list is a bit low-level to see how the EA is performing overall. But you'd have to get correct P/L out of MC for that. The AU chart shows $240 profit for a 24-pip gain, as you would expect. Why does the EG chart show a $0.00016 profit for a 1.6-pip gain? Then the EJ chart shows $0.41 profit for a 41-pip gain, etc. Looks like the "$ profit" is actually showing the right value for xxxUSD pairs, but just the raw price change for other pairs. No pip scaling, no exchange-rate calculations, etc. |

I agree less trading and larger average trade are some key desires for this system. I'll look at it, but unfortunately TS does not provide the portfolio tools that MC does. I can do only a crude approximation of optimizing on a portfolio, basically one symbol at a time. I'm going to get whacked with work this week. Might take me a while to work through it. |

OMG!!!!  Is this normal.....I connected the bot to a demo account changed "Risk Percent" at 3......and in 4 hours my account was up 30%!!! (on 3 pairs) . It did not take any profit(I was tempted to close and bank the 30 %), I let it run and now it is still up 17%......  |

What was the lot size of the opened trades Pipaholic? Entries look valid at first glance which made me think there may be an issue in calculating volume by risk. Cheers |

They are right there on the pdf pic, USDJPY was 17.09, and it opened 2 GBPJPY, one with 7.84 and one of 7.83...... I have placed it on the 4H chart so..... Also there where 2 more signals one on the EURUSD and one on the GBPUSD but the bot did not take them....most likely cause it indicates "There is insufficient margin to allow trading, 352.63%"....... |

Yep, sorry not sure how I didn't see that  Getting late in here...Right, the lot size calculations appear to be correct. SL for the first trade is 14 pips away so the bot chose 17 lots to give you a risk of bit less than 3k out of 100k. You are also right in that with the default settings no trades can be placed if available margin is less than 400%. Well, all appears to be in order; good to see you are getting good results then. So far I found in the default settings this strategy can make good profit when there is a strong trend, and will have small losses otherwise. Are you using the default settings? Cheers Mahmut |

Yes, all default, just changed the risk to 3. By the way how can I forget  thanks to all who developed this bot.....It looks really interesting  Now lets see for a couple of months how it will go..... Keep pipping 4xPIPAHOLIC |

Thanks Khalaad - I love the rigourous approach you are using, and I am sure it will bear fruit. Just to confirm - are you changing any of the settings for stop management? I believe the OOB TS is 'on' and set to 10 pips which means not that much should be given back from profit. Have you tried the jumping stop or ATR stop? I have set up a couple of tests to look at using the previous bar as an initial stop, and to set the jumping stop to the initial stop distance. That way you can catch some big profits during the main trading hours because of the gearing (close stop, and position size accordingly) but also a fair number of losses. I'll carry on working on that idea, but it has meant a few code changes (I'm a rubbish coder  )FR |
