To add a bit of value to lurking, attached is a screenshot of EURCAD from this morning. Re-entry trade worked, stacking trades worked, but I did get an error message regarding the modification of the TP.

Hi guys
Might need some help here.
Swapped to Global Prime beta last friday and have only had 2 trades - EURGBP late Fri and GBPUSD late Mon - both re-entry trades. Seems to have missed some of the logical trades such as GBPAUD and EURCAD.
Using OOTB so haven’t messed with the inputs. Was working fine on the original GP demo.
I have been following this since day 1 as I believe it has great potential – mainly because of the solid basis for entries and the ability to control DD.
Would really appreciate any thoughts or help.

i am running BASA on a global prime demo, so far looking good, but not nearly had as spectacular results as the ones you have posted! can you tell us which broker platform you are using, and your pairs/settings if thats ok? also could you put up a myfxbook link to your demo if that's not too much trouble?

I think the Global Prime beta platform is GMT +2 (maybe confirm with Jem), accordingly the indicators will read differently and give different trades. We will need to keep this in mind once GP switch over to their new demo server as BASA will take different trades.

There has not been many trades in the last week due to market conditions...this is good as we don't want to get into bad trades just for the sake of trading. If you visit a few other threads around here (notably Bob's) you will see there is not much trading go on there either.

I have mentioned a few times that this EA is suited to trending markets, but if it can cherry pick the odd successful trade during slow/ranging periods I think we will be rewarded in a trending market.

Hi Trader689...my results are not really spectacular at the moment, as the market is not generally suited to BASA right now and my account balance is down from the starting balance, but a lot of that is due to BASA being a work in progress. As I mentioned in the post above if we can get BASA to cherry pick the occasional good trades in the ranging periods and then look to ride when price is trending (like the gbpaud trade did the other day) then I think we will have a really robust EA.

Right now, my losses and drawdown is much less than a few weeks ago and I attribute that to the inclusion of Andy's MA stacking rule...

Moving forward, I think the EA is getting very close to being a finished product, although I am looking at an adjustment to the entry criteria for the re-entry trades at the moment. (Steve I will send you my thoughts about this over the weekend :D )

In the meantime, I will post some myfxbook links (I was going to do that a few weeks ago, but haven't got around to it yet, so sorry bout that). As for settings, I have 3 demo's on Global Prime with different set files all started at different times. I have posted previously if you can look back but right now I have to get ready for work, so will post them again tonight when I get home.

Thanks Shelley - yes GP beta is 2/3 (currently 3) so it will certainly make some difference. And yes it isn't a time for a lot of trades. I was more concerned that BASA had seemingly by-passed a couple of trades that looked as though it should have / would have taken.
Anyhow, great potential with this one so you and Steve keep up the great work.

You are using the ea ootb and post the snippet that I quote above?

Grow up dimwit. The combined genius involved in developing this ea makes your so-called 'contribution' look as stupid as it actually is.
