I read Bob said he might reveal the logic/code behind it, maybe we could help improve it collectivly. Anyway just a thought.
You cannot 'test' this indicator. I have the privilege to be party to the indi code and can state this definitively. The arrows it show bear no relationship to the market at the time it prints the arrows. Either take it on trust and work with it, or forget it. Its simplicity is its genius, but it takes a genius like Bob to come up with it.

8 years a Forex trader this is what I set for my goals. Took longer than expected but a learning curve.
1. Pay off my credit cards
2. Go off on vacation and pay off credit cards.
3. Go off on vacation and not use credit cards, in other words trip is paid for cash in advance
3B. Meet Steve Hopwood and other trader friends.
I have reached level 3 of my Forex goals and now am working on level 4.
4. Save up cash to cash buy our retirement home and automobile.
5. Free to travel anywhere I want whenever I want.

Those were the 5 goals I set for myself 6 years ago when I started trading

USD/JPY sell run is over. Close your sells and wait for the next trade opportunity. How do I know? HGI told me so. Elixe and Milanese have combined the CSS reads into this indi and we have the most incredible indi on the planet. HGI is coming, the most complete and thorough indi erver produced. I am averaging 1500 pips a week with this thing. Anyway here is a pic showing that the usd/jpy run is done.

USD/JPY run is over ...

interesting - just today Morgan Stanley stated EUR/JPY around 138.00 at EoY.

Not counting on such sources, but nonetheless, if JPY weakness ends, fail of BoJ measures and Abenomics get another proof. Draghi should have a look at Japan - but I'm sure, he does.

Doesnt mean JPY wont weaken again in the future it just means it is exhausted for now. Eurjpy has picked back up but that because of the euro not JPY. Its showing a eur/jpy retrace back up but not strong enough yet to cause a higher high.

Bob,
How exciting is this new indi. I was looking and looking at the CSS and trying to combine it in with the 240 11.xxx an ma cross and your older W1 and D1 stoch indi to try and avoid some of the false signals...it was doing well but I had trouble getting the daily CSS coming up and being readable in the hour time frame chart. Then I went to read what's new on the thread and BAM....the HGI is being birthed....woooo hoooo :yahoo:
When I saw the chart for the Yen I was like....where is this from...look at those signals. :yahoo: It looks great. I am so excited to try this...when is it going to be ready for community consumption?
Have you used it on other timeframes or just the 4 hr?

A quick note of thanks to all involved.....you all are doing great things in helping us all to navigate these waters and not be beaten by the market anymore....a very , very heartfelt and sincere thank you to you,Steve, Elixe, Milanese, Baluda....and so many more of the vets on here that have truly helped the newbies and injured returnees to avoid disaster. Thanks for letting us learn from your experiences both good and bad. You are a blessing for sure.....thank you. :hi:

I have one more day in Nanjing with my son and family. Tomorrow we go to Shanghai for 24 hours and then on to London. I think I have the last version updates from Elixe and then around 5 pages left in the booklet to write. Hopefully finish in Shanghai and post before we leave for London. Waiting also for a couple of people who are proofreading and testing the indi. So my goal is to post within 48 hours. If not then definitely before Monday open.

Eur/jpy looking to go up again. wavy lines show change of direction or sell strength is not there. E/J should move back into range area or trend as shown by the CSS. If I get a small up arrow it will mean little strength to the move and its a range trade. If I get a large arrow CSS is saying there is strength so looking for a bigger move. The previous large arrow showed strength sell but the wavy lines then show the strength didnt last. The little angle arrows (RAD arrows) show the CSS is saying its got some legs to the move. However, whenever the wavy lines are present CSS is saying this move is done for now. CSS strength is no more there. Elixe really nailed the programming on this indi.
