Patmontes, isn't the EA only meant to place orders at opening of Tuesday markets? Or is it capable of placing trades all week so long as the correct conditions are met Tuesday morning?

Edit: Scrap that. Just checked the terminal and there are a number of pending positions placed (AUDCAD, AUDJPY, AUDUSD, CADJPY, CADCHF, EURCHF, EURJPY, EURUSD, GBPCAD, GBPJPY, GBPUSD and USDJPY)

Edit again: read post one properly. All seems to be in order

Just to clear it up. Trades should be placed at just after US close if the conditions are met. (you need to make sure you have set the trading window in the EA to be just after the US close using your local time). By default Monday trading is turned off, so the first time trades are placed is early tuesday morning if you are in Oz. Then, if the conditions are met at just after US close later in the week the SL & TP of the existing orders are adjusted or positions added /removed as required.

Thanks for the reply Skoda.
It seems all the trades were placed at 00:05 Global Prime time. We are lucky enough that the 00:00 bar on GP corresponds with the start of the Asian (Sydney) session.
I trading is set from 11 past the hour OOTB but I saw somewhere in the thread that Pipcruiser set his EA to trade from 5 past the hour. I figure it can't hurt to copy him seeing as it was his strategy.

I take a risk saying this but I didn't really read the first post properly so wasn't expecting any trades to be posted until next week. but having read that again, properly this time, I can see how this thing works now.

Are we still manually clearing pending trades at the close of US session on Friday? I saw that the clearing of unfilled pendings was not automated yet and don't think I've seen an update yet to say otherwise

Hi Bobby.

The EA sends the pending orders with an expiry time (determined by what you specify in the settings) and so far I haven't had an issue with them closing on Friday afternoon.

So true. Mine was there 6 months ago. Although its only just starting to show
