The latest signal is the most valid signal. So if Price stalls and you get wavy lines and you then get a rad, the indi is telling you that strength is building again. I picked up the USD/JPY trade today off of the rad signal. I picked up almost 60 pips on two trades today on usd/jpy today. |

Bob, the color change is retained when you load the template, but the thickness reverts to the original code. I am using the latest version: 14.05 |

Ok, I will help you out here.. and offer my trade practices.. Obviously, these may be and are probably different than everyone else here. I run demo and live, side by side (but on different pc's). My live trading account(s) are on separate pc's from the demo accounts, and all systems are on high speed internet (Comcast). Additionally, I run the same, duplicating the systems which gives me a backup, on separate pc's with a different internet feed (Verizon) for backup. On most occasions, the fills are similar, with maybe a 1/2 pip differential on occasions. I also run on Mobile which is on a third internet feed (TMobile). As I have been told, the quote feed is the same to both demo and live. However, when trading Demo vs Live, the trades go to different servers for clearing (this is the simple version). The fills are close enough for me not to be concerned with any issues. For testing, I use the demo, with trade size @ .02 / pair / $1,250. Example: Assume $50,000 equity and I am trading 20 pairs. I divide the 20 pairs into the $50,000 account equity. This gives me $2,500 available equity per pair. I then divide that in half, for $1,250.00 equity available for trading on each pair. Reason for the second divide is to keep margin limits in control and to provide additional safety. I then configure my risk at 5% per equity allocation per pair of the adjusted equity. Example: $1,250 x 5% = $62.50 This is where you have to decide if you are willing to lose $62.50 per pair x 20 pairs. I make the assumption that all hell will break loose and all pairs will lose. So that is $62.50 x 20 = $1,250 or 2.50% of the total equity. Yes, I can live with that risk level. This allows me to adjust the lot size allocation per pair. Thus typically, I can trade 0.02 lot size per pair with very few stop outs (by the way, I rarely use stops or they are so far out of the market / dealer range to not be a concern. I will configure them to my risk level per pair). As the position increases in equity, I add to the position, typically every 21-34-55 pips (notice the fib sequence? hehehe) . Very easy to grab 50, 100, 300, 500, even +1000 pips using small lot size. I can sleep at night and do not have to be tied to computer. Risk is spread over a diverse selection of pairs and trades. I let the demo system EA prove itself, or not, before running on live accounts. The above formula has worked for me for many years. I just simply adjust it by the number of pairs traded and the total amount of equity. Hope this helps.. Cheers BT ps... The problem with Renko is when the markets go sideways.. it will chew up an account. and considering that markets only trend about 23% of the time, does not make Renko a favorable chart option for me. I have been there, done that.. history looks great, like any other chart.. real life practice is another issue. |

I would be remiss if I didn't express my gratitude to Bob, Steve, et al. I believe that HGI is essentially the equivalent of YEARS of accumulated knowledge in Calculus, Physics, Chemistry and World History... re-packaged in an activity book for preschoolers... Simply STUNNING work. Bob, for your great effort, you can expect to see a share of my profits in the upcoming year make their way to your charitable cause. Steve, for your ability to moderate a venue whereby the greatest minds in retail forex have ever congregated, you can expect I will contribute to your pocket as well. An enthusiastic tip of the hat to you, Bob and Steve, and all of you who had a hand in this unprecedented work of art. Literally, the Sistine Chapel of forex software if there ever was. Thank you. |

Why did it stop you from entering? Anything to the left of the current candle is history and no longer valid. You could have entered when the Green Range arrow appeared. |
