Hello guyz,

New member here...

1st question is which is the best version for beginner to use? I loaded up version 15.06. Is it the best version to begin with? By best I mean the basic model to start learning how the system works without any add ons like hurst or anything.

I understand everything I see on my charts except one thing. Why are there both blue and yellow wavy lines? Is it a glitch of my broker or is there a difference? I couldn't find an explanation anywhere.

Thankz and good luck to everyone. Hope you all recover from the swiss train wreck.

Yes 15.06 is imo the best starting point, make sure to read the PDF Bob made and this and the HGI-main thread..

Cheers :)

Hahahaha. I did read lots of stuff but I read everything in one day so it was 100% sure I would miss lots of stuff. I did a search and came up with the meanings buffer 7 and 8 which I had stumbled upon yesterday but I didn't retain the info...

Thankz anyway. Good luck!

Guys bear with me for a moment...

I am new to the custom indicator/script/ea thingy.

I downloaded everything from the HGI main thread and did the following:

1. Put all the scripts in the scripts folder (do I need the scripts for the indi and template to work or are they complimentary?)

2. Put the HGI indicator in the indicator folder

3. Put the templates in the templates folder

I enabled auto-trading and placed the template and indi on my AUD/USD chart.

I can see everything and I suppose it is working because I am getting signals. But the part on the upper right corner where I get all the info of the current price, swap, spread and all seems to be stuck to some other pair (something/JPY i would assume) or generally stuck.

Take a look...

Post subject:  How to interpret readings from multiple timeframes?

AnGri » Wed Jan 14, 2015 11:16 am wrote:....

I look for advice how to interpret readings from multiple timeframes (mtf), especially if they are not agreeing.

For instance i have 3 charts open with different timeframes (D1, H4, H1).

I got a Big Red Arrow down on H4, indicating a Trend Sell.
But on H1 i got a yellow wavy above the same candle, indicating we enter a range.

So the higher timeframe says "trend" down, and the lower timeframe says range.

How do i combine this reading into a trading decision?
Does the higher timeframe weigh more / supersede the lower timeframe reading?

In addition on D1 i have a small red RAD at the bottom of the previous day's candle (today's price is higher than yesterday's low at the time of checking the charts).

Which - if i understand it right - says, downtrend might continue should price break out below.

So if i add the daily info to the mix, perhaps a combined reading would then indicate we are rangebound intraday, from the wavy on top of the H1 to the day's low?

Is there a consistent way to read HGI signals from mtf and "translate" them into trading decisions?
Can't anybody help with this?
Should i move it to the "regular" HGi thread perhaps?

That is merely a "snapshot" in the template.
You need to load the "NewMarketInfo_Dark" indicator onto every chart. (and probably save as a template.)
Hope that works for you.

I took that screenshot because that is where the problem lies. This stays the same for every chart and doesn't change.

Where can I find the indi you are referring to?

Except the dark template and the HGI indicator, I haven't loaded anything else on my charts. Should I load any other indicators or scripts that need to be loaded for the main template and indi to work?

Thanks a lot for helping out
