9 of X - Cleaned up the code and made the columns dynamic. Default is 60. Post 1 for the file.

I'll try to do a dashboard next.

Hello Guys,


First Dwain thank you for your great work! Well simply seems that the EA needs little more
examination/analysis and unfortunately that needs time which isn't easy to freed up.
I think you invested a lot of your time and thank you for that!


What is your experience with manual trading, i mean do you use (have the best experience/results)
with a specific criteria to open and close a trade ?

Hi Xrismak,
Thankyou for your examples and input. I noticed a few great trades you've taken where the Slope/Slope and the Big Picture direction don't agree, do you have a preference or could you give us a summary or checklistof what you might look for when you do see a Peak or Pin??

Sorry I missed some of the excitement. Don’t feel bad about the EA with a great indicator they never seem to be able to capture their full potential. You produced one of the best indicator out their, as xrismak said it best “the most prolific indicator” for manual trading.

I hope everything goes well for family and work. I look forwarded to working with you again.

in fact Im also not sure how to take advantage of this gizmo. My idea is just to watch the history of strenghts so that I can see whether the pair is strenghthening or weakening.

I also observed that strong M1,M5 (which should be the start of the move) doesnt always result in strenghtenning higher TFs

Do you guys observe all strenghts or maybe chosen ones?

Xrismak, your screens show h1 TF, Do you observe strenghts around h1 or you pay attention to sth different?

still trying to take the best advantage of this indi, any contributions showing your strategies would be of help :)

Hello Dwain,

Good to see you here and great that you're working on 9x9 dashboard. Hooray! :clap: I'm looking forward to use it. Right now my workspace looks like this :D

EDIT:

Dwain, could you turn 9x into MTF indicator? I'm thinking about something like in this image (example of M1 and M15):

It would help to visualise transition of price and identify pullbacks (smaller tf vs. larger tf). We could observe price changes on different timeframes.

EDIT2:

I know that we already see past readings, it's just different way to visualise your indicator.

Hi Pete,

After using the 9x9 EA, I have no doubt that 9x9 is a wonderful S/R finder. When you see the strength reaching level 200, you are on a S/R and will see either a breakout or retrace. I have had good luck with placing a 10-20 pip buy and sell stop at level 200 strength. I'm basically a DFC trader and try to go by those rules with the close.

Thanks Luke .. I'll have a look.

I use Microsoft SQL Server, but I'm sure renexxxx's post will give me some ideas.

It connects and writes to a MySQL database. I use it to save all of my trades. You could adapt it to your needs.
