Mikey, i'm currently in huge DD as i have'nt countered traded manually after L3. be carefull about live money. These results were my initial findings and this demo is still running on my fxbookpage with out any interferences from me. ($-71.DD) See where its at, and make sure you are prepared by reading everything about this ea before you go live on anything. Have'nt got around to changing settings yet, but over-due for a good looking-at here on my part. regards and good luck. cuzgeorge.  |

Thanks, I did change one of the settings around. I moved the minimum trading lot size down from 0.08 (or whatever it was) to 0.01 on all of the charts. So it will make its trades with a 0.01 lot size. For some reason, on the demo account it displayed that the minimum trading size would be 0.10 lots. Then when I switched over to the live account (no funds in it), the program stated the minimum lot size it would trade would be 0.01 lots. Also disabled White Box trading since I'm a US resident and I'm trading it only on 2 pairs (EURUSD and USDJPY) because the spread is only 2 pips. I do remember from doing research on Forex that you should trade on currency pairs that have low spreads. |

Mikey, you are running an EA on a virtual cloud server? Could you explain more or is that another way of saying VPS? Cheers |

Yeah, a virtual cloud server is a more efficient VPS. The interface and everything is easier to load since less system resources are consumed between both interfaces. Anyways, I got a winning trade on the USDJPY pair. It set up a trade for 0.01 lots, a sell stop. It created a sell stop at 79.06 and currently it's moved down to 78.25, so I'm off to a good start so far. It closed the trade in profit, so my balance has moved from $55 to $55.81. |

Hi all, Okay, here it is definately time to play around. It's been long enough and I dont see this animal breaking away towards a good profit. I'm getting more confident with my settings and have tinkered nicely here. I have named the EA 'Slopey Beast v1d Mod 1' to differentiate with the original Bunker HardCoded version. - I will be replacing the charts with Mod1 HardCoded. - changed all the slope values and i'm using slope where possible, including Bunkers' method. - NO MPTM, only internal management. - standard BE of 25/10 and JS of 40. - Higher TF used. - dropping GBPCHF, had no trades and way too high spread here. - left recovery on at 1,2,6. happy with that. - trying with-out Zeljko to see what happens. - might be manually closing trades. Dont intend to open any though. Will report back with set file and EA if this is successfull in the coming weeks. myfxbook still up and running here, if there are any changes, look for 'general' tabs where i will note the changes. good luck and regards  cuzgeorge |

Incidently, here are some other demos still running that i picked up along the Beast route; They are named accordingly and i have more than messed up after L3 trades where i try to manage my own DD recovery. All these EA's were doing just fine until i started to play. I'm testing the use of Balls to the Wall EA to try and automate recovery as i have become very handy with ol Balls ,  , man that sounds bad.I dont leave the ea on a chart but rather create the chart for a recovery trade and once a trade has been taken i dissable the ea until i need it to try and trade for me again, (for recovery).. I've started to practice and lost some and won some. It's just that now you get to see where i'm messing up also. If results look unbelievable, just give myfxbook thingy a chance to refresh, it happens.     Enjoy, hope you like the set up, I'll be watching these guys and waiting to make my manual move for recovery, even though manual move=another ea. |

Well I am using the old beast & Slopy Beast, but I was hoping that you could give me a direction as to which version (of the ones you're using) is most consistent and profitable. Matt |
