The idea behind having the cross as the trigger is to have the market moving in your direction at the time of entry. I feel waiting for a close will not make much difference on a potential reversal and will reduce your profit on all trades because the entry will happen at a point further from the MA with the subsequent reduction of pips on every trade.

BTW, I forgot to mention... I added 'long' ago some setting called RecoveryVirtualStop. It's job is for those who like me want to try nanningbob's recovery style.

I explain. Ordinarily, Risk Percent will be used to calculate lot size based on the current stop. The current stop could differ because the bot calculates stops based on pivot lines if no stop is explicitly set.

Now, I want to start recovery (manual entry) at min 100 pips dead, but I want to use a REAL emergency stop at 200 pips. In the usual case of lots from risk percent, I will get lot size calculated from the real stop of 200 pips.

I don't want that and neither do I want a fixed lot size and there is where RecoveryVirtualStop comes in. If set to anything other than zero, it will be the basis used to calc lot size from the Risk Percentage.

You have to set it to zero to use the real stop (either explicit or calculated from pivot lines) as basis for lot size calculation from the Risk Percent. It's your call.

I hope I explained that well enough but futher clarification is available where that came from

In other news, we are going to add automajic entry of recovery trades (at least up to some level) for those who love them. The idea is boiling... we will see. Personally, I find recovery trading suits my personality very well and helps me gain experience with less frustration. That I believe is the real philosophy behind nanningbob's recovery.
