But do u have any booklet about 10.4 ver5.0?
Nope that is it for now, except to add and will test this week. Look at the 10.4 info screen and I may try using 10.5 on the currencies that are near zero and 10.4 with the ones that are strong or weak.

Still chugging along nicely for me at the moment - I'm not that great a manual trader and still have issues pulling the trigger, then get itchy feet once in a trade  however nb104 has kept me up 2% over the last month which is pretty cool imo - for me anyway

I'm forcing myself to go 6 month's profitable / beven or better on demo before going back live to manual trading, but nb104 has at least got me back in the manual fight which is great.

- Last week for me beven
- Open carry positions from Friday - gbpcad sell - gbpchf sell - eurgbp buystop

Potential Set-up's going into this week

- NZDUSD sell
- USDCHF buy
- AUDCAD buy
- GBPUSD sell
- EURUSD sell
- USDCAD buy
- EURAUD sell
- AUDNZD buy
- AUDCHF buy
- CADCHF buy
- GBPNZD both ways ??

Hmmm got me thinking "maybes a brijon style basket" test this week

Here are the updated indi for the 10.4 info page. Delete the slope strength indi and add the newer version plus add the CSS indi. I added 10.4 to the names so they would be easier to find. Your 10.4 page should look like this when you add them then adjust the lines into a clean screen. It takes time for it to update all the currency pairs you have but it will make sense to you. Make sure you use the daily screen or the lines will give you the TF you are on. I use the daily for my reads.

AUD, USD, are showing strength maybe CAD, NZD to follow

JPY, CHF, GBP show weakness.

EUR, NZD, CAD are in the middle.

Best trends will be AUD and USD crossing with JPY, CHF, GBP. They are your best shots at currencies moving away from the 240 line.

If any one can fit the Iexposre and Ibreakeven in the same window screen side by side that would make the screen bigger and more efficient.

Pardon my ignorance but why do you need both the slope strength indicator AND the CSS currency slope strength indicator when the values are the same?

Bob

Thanks so much for the update.

I have a dumb question. Across the top of the info page are the CSS values for each of the currencies. Below a currency (e.g., Eur) will be listings for the various pairs (e.g, EurJpy).

What are the numbers that are listed for each of the pairs?

The numbers represent the angle of degrees of the slope of price action. The bigger the number the more of a slope there is and the more price will move in that direction. You have a total score for the entire currency versus the pairs with your broker those are yellow with the updated version, light blue with the one I had been using. Then there are the individual comparisons for each individual pair. For example if a currency pair is red or green it is trending at the greatest angle, greater than 8. If it is between 4 and 8 then they will still be shades of green and red. less than four then a different shade of green and red. Green meaning price is going up, red price is going down. The closer to 0 you get the less of the up or down angle price is moving.

These numbers are then plugged into a line graph and you can compare them with each other. The line on top represents the currency with the most strength and movement and the line on the bottom is the weakest currency. As you watch the lines crossing each other you can tell which ones are moving up or getting stronger and ones moving down and getting weaker. You will notice that the JPY was the lowest at the end of 2012 and the weakest and many of us were selling it like crazy. Then you can see that the angle of downward trend reversed and GBP tooks it place and became the weakest currency so I have been selling the GBP like crazy. It looks like the JPY is going to take its place again. From Nov to almost Feb JPY was the weakest currency across the board but as it angled back up you can see that its weakness was lessening until the GBP took over. It was the 2nd weakest currency from end of December to beginning of Feb and then the weakest until now. We will see which currency now becomes the overall weakest pair so we can sell it.

During the same time the Euro was the strongest pair with the USD taking over and two brief periods the AUD was the strongest. We can watch these lines and know how the whole market is interacting with each other giving us clues on how to look for the best trades. So we took turns buying Euro, USD and sometimes AUD.

If my assessment is correct then we take the 2 strongest and 2 weakest currency groups and trade 10.4 with them and the ones in the middle, hanging around the 0 line and not moving much and/or ranging then 10.5 system may work better. Only time will tell but that is my trading theory right now.

OK Bob

Looks like a big improvement with lots of useful information.

Is the "slope" that you mention the slope of an MA or is it some sort of regression on the price actions.

Also you mention plugging the numbers into a line graph. How do you do that? The only line graph that shows up is the CSS values.

Thanks again

In the pic below you see 4 areas of congestion. Period 1 maybe 10.5 will trade better than 10.4, maybe we will see. After period 1 the Aud went weak and the Euro went strong but the rest stayed bunched.

Area 2 we bunched up again and the AUD went strong and Cad GBP went weak but later the JPY went really weak for several months.
Area 3 JPY stayed weak while the others bunched up. Those that sold the JPY against everything else made a bundle. Hi Mr. Soros and his extra billion. All the rest stayed bunched with the Euro going strong for a while followed by the USD. The GBP eventually became the weakest while the JPY went back to 0.

Now everything is bunched again and we will see which currency will go strong and which one will go weak. During this time 10.4 should hold its own but maybe 10.5 will do better. We will test and see.
