The numbers represent the angle of degrees of the slope of price action. The bigger the number the more of a slope there is and the more price will move in that direction. You have a total score for the entire currency versus the pairs with your broker those are yellow with the updated version, light blue with the one I had been using. Then there are the individual comparisons for each individual pair. For example if a currency pair is red or green it is trending at the greatest angle, greater than 8. If it is between 4 and 8 then they will still be shades of green and red. less than four then a different shade of green and red. Green meaning price is going up, red price is going down. The closer to 0 you get the less of the up or down angle price is moving.

These numbers are then plugged into a line graph and you can compare them with each other. The line on top represents the currency with the most strength and movement and the line on the bottom is the weakest currency. As you watch the lines crossing each other you can tell which ones are moving up or getting stronger and ones moving down and getting weaker. You will notice that the JPY was the lowest at the end of 2012 and the weakest and many of us were selling it like crazy. Then you can see that the angle of downward trend reversed and GBP tooks it place and became the weakest currency so I have been selling the GBP like crazy. It looks like the JPY is going to take its place again. From Nov to almost Feb JPY was the weakest currency across the board but as it angled back up you can see that its weakness was lessening until the GBP took over. It was the 2nd weakest currency from end of December to beginning of Feb and then the weakest until now. We will see which currency now becomes the overall weakest pair so we can sell it.

During the same time the Euro was the strongest pair with the USD taking over and two brief periods the AUD was the strongest. We can watch these lines and know how the whole market is interacting with each other giving us clues on how to look for the best trades. So we took turns buying Euro, USD and sometimes AUD.

If my assessment is correct then we take the 2 strongest and 2 weakest currency groups and trade 10.4 with them and the ones in the middle, hanging around the 0 line and not moving much and/or ranging then 10.5 system may work better. Only time will tell but that is my trading theory right now.
