Hi Prakash:

I've already finished the EA with your instructions for open trades and Scenario 1, But I need to ask you some questions:

1. Is the take profit, for the second order in scenario 1, the same as the first order? (500 pips)
2. In scenario 2 I have to wait for the comeback just for the current candle? If you can post an example, an image, of scenario 2 would be very helpful.

Anyway, I'm attaching the report and the EA for you to try it. I've playaed with it for a while and found that the best combination is 295 TP, 45 SL, and no new order in scenario 1. Here are the results:

Profit Factor = 2.11
Expected Payoff = 316.24
Maximal DrawDown = 17%
Net Profit = $ 16.760
Date: from 2012-01-02 to 2013-03-12.

I also have added a money management function. It depends on the risk you want to take and the amount of stop loss in pips. greater the stop loss lower the lots per order, greater the percentage you are risking, greater the lots per order.

Please try it, back test it, and tell me what can i do to improve it.

HI cruxs

Thanks for your EA.I will work on this EA but give me some time.

Let me explain you y this system works.

We all know currencies move 1000-2000 pips every year.

Lets us take last move of EUR/USD,When it moved from 1.2 to 1.35.It has moved almost 1500 pips.

if you bag 100 pips of this move and if you say that you have made a killer move.I don't think so.

As i told you,First position should be at b/e before you enter the second position.Always only one position should be at risk for any pair.

For every 20 pips if you keep on stacking for 500 pip move(i.e., If you keep on adding position for every 20 pips of this 500 pips move) at the end of it you will have 6500 pips.
But if you keep on stacking for 1000 pips with 20 pips stacking then you will have 25,500 pips.

Power of this method is not pin-point entries but being in the trend. That's it nothing else.I can pay 2000 pips for 25000 pips movement.I think this is best risk:reward we can get.

For every position i add,My TP will be 1000 pips. But as i keep stacking,i will just take out some profit and let my other positions run(if you feel that this trend is over and you are losing more positions then take out some profit). If i have 15 positions then i will close 8 of them and let other position run.
2. In scenario 2 I have to wait for the comeback just for the current candle? If you can post an example, an image, of scenario 2 would be very helpful.
Suppose at the start of the day,i enter with 30 pips s/l.My position can come across two scenarios 1.position surviving and adding next leg on the same day
2.position dying with 30 pip s/l.

As i explained in detail about the first scenario.Let me talk here about the second scenario.

Most of the time by positions die with 30 pip s/l but i would like to add one more leg.So, i will wait till it come back to the open of the same candle on the same day.

suppose we are in up trend(price closed above the open of previous down bar).At the start of the day i entered at the open(assume it at 1.3000) and s/l at 1.2970.Assume price has hit my s/l and position is closed.
Now i will wait till price coming back to 1.3000 and i will enter by position there.y?

If price is forming opposite trend then price will never come back to the open position if it comes back then retrace for the day is over and we are in the right direction.

Actually your results are pretty impressive but you can still make some more profits if we can hold on for some more time.

Hope i cleared all your queries.

Regarding money management i will explain in the next post.Till then please think about what i have written in this post.

If you have any queries,Let me know.I will explain them further.

I like this system very much. Just some thoughts, doesn` it make sence to use a variable stop depending on market volatility, so that it has some adaptivity. Sometimes it can vary very significantly.

And may I ask what is the other curency pair you carently are using? Thanks.

Hi Prakash
You aroused my interest, also being an engineer, in India 2 years ago & having created trending EAs.
Intriguing idea!
Question - your 28000 pips sounds impressive but is that Net or Gross?
Another trading system on SH forum shows a list of very 'green' pips/$ legs, which I reproduced to 2000 pips, but found during my trial period, the many small SL losses along the way were greater than the accumulated gains. Not criticising either system, but like to know the full story. How many total pips SL were lost in the process of making 28000 or is this unknown?

Hi sini

Regarding entries please,re-read my post.
Taking profit depends entirely on you.I take profit when each of my leg hit 1000 pips.

Hi Surfer

You can try your thoughts and feel free to post your results here. This is just a method.you can use it and adjust it according to your trading style.

There will always be rewards and losses to any system.
My aim is to "keep my losses at minimum and let my profit run.

If you use variable stop-loss then will you able to handle larger losses?
If yes then you can try.If not then we need to look for system where we can have limited losses.

Hope you understand it.If you want further explanation let me know.

I trade other currencies too.
GBP/USD
EUR/JPY

I am still testing other currencies.

Hi Paul

Glade to know that you were in India.

I never spent 28X pips to attain 28X pips.

Can you just see the graph posted by Cruxs.

What do you understand from that?

It an exponential curve,if you can smooth en the curve .can you see that.

At the starting of the curve,He tried placing one position.

so,for one position placed if market moves in his direction by one pip then he will have 1 pip profit.

But after establishing some legs(say 10 positions+) if market moves in his direction by one pip then his profit will be 10+ pips.

Now,consider this if market moved 100 pips in his direction with 10+ positions can you calculate profit?

That's is what i am doing.I am following the trend whether it is upward or downward trend. I don't care.I just follow the trend with minimum losses.

do you get the gist?

This is just a method to follow the trend. If you have any other method you can use that but you must always try to amplify your profit.

Please, try this out my yourself. If you have any doubts feel free to post.

Prakash

hello Prakash, i have been looking for a long term trading system for a while and after reading your posts and also reading through the original system. I can see that this system is really good. now i have 2 questions for you:

1. How does swap affect your trading as regards to your profit
2. Which pairs have you been trading and what stop loss have you used on them, as i can see that 30pips for JPY pairs fail alot.

I would appricate your response
