This functionality exists in the DoneForTheDay() code I posted a bit back. It has settings for MaxWinningTrades and MaxLosingTrades (among others). Perhaps Steve can look over it and see if it is worth adding.

If he is too busy with other EAs (he's got several in the early stages) I'll take a crack at updating it with the new time check (includes multiple sessions and hours/minutes) as well as the DoneForTheDay() code.

OK, I've modified the EA to include the following enhancements:
  • Time Check now includes options for all three sessions, Asian, European and US. The time is still local time.
  • Times can now be entered to the minute.
  • Done for the day code has been added. There are multiple options for DFTD, which you can review at http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... 2529#p2529
  • The code now checks to make sure VQ7.EX4 is in the indicator folder and will show an error if it is not. It also directs the user back to this forum to get the file.
For the DoneForTheDay settings, I believe you want to turn on DFTDMaxWinningTrades = 1. That will have it keep trading until it gets a winner. In this case, "winner" means a trade closed in profit.

I know nothing about the operation of this bot, so I need someone to test it before putting it out there for general consumption. Let me know if you are willing and I'll send it along to you.

Guys i love slow martin 1.5 and if tp is more than 1.5 of st. try this. Please help me to understand what pairs are safier to go together? i want find 2 pairs that are really different in flats and trends to trade martin safier (sorry for language)

After the display issue sorted out ;) I got the message that I don't have the VQ indicator
but I have... I didn't rename it... it is called VQ7.ex4 but it looks like it does not recognise it.

After some restart of this crappy Empty4 I don't have this issue anymore.... ! :roll:
