Hello all,

thank you for sharing this really nice system.

I usually prefer to remain in the background, but since about one year I'm trading a very similar strategy. It's based on the TradeMadySimple-Strategy by BigE at ff (I recommend this thread although it's at ff :D ). I made some small modification and wrote some indicators to give me a better visual aid. (That could depend on the point of view, so I won't share the indis atm)

I like one indicator, which helps me to identify the end of the current move. I often trail the stoploss as long as the current High/Low or current close is above/below the last Synergy_Bars High/Low. Then the stoploss is always set to the last Synergy_Bars High/Low. In addition in my experience a break of the low(in uptrend)/ high(in downtrend) of the Synergy_Bars is a possible signal for a reversal. I hope the attached picture makes it easier understand. Otherwise ask me...
Maybe you could think about integrating such a trailing stop or a "trend break" option.
(beside: the indicator is nrp after the current candle close and I can give further screenshot, if someone wants)

Furthermore I'm testing the ea on a demo account and it looks promising.

I have added Georges DoeForTheDay code to the EA and added some feedback to the user. It is still experimental so be warned it may not work as expected yet, though Georges code is usually spot on :)

Can we test this out and if it works ok i'll update the first post. I'm off to bed now, have fun :lol:

I have played with the settings for the last couple of days!
And this is what i get now when i run a few fast backtests. I know they don`t mean much, but it helps me to get the best settings.

Eur-usd with M15 2011-11-11 till 2012-01-10 start 0.01 lot

Thanks for the input, looks like a nice system and seems straightforward to add to the EA as another option or two. I think i would separate the trailing stop as we already have a candlestick trailing stop but not a synergy TS and then add the checks you make using your indicator for trade exit. Do you have any other recommendations/info on this that might be useful? pm me if you do so we can work out the kinks in the system before posting on the thread.

I`m also testing the latest version on demo on a h1 timeframe with standard settings and 6 pairs picked up a trade today! 1 winner 5,50$ 1 Loser 3$ and 1 irunnning now with a loss of 1,40$ and 3 trades in the plus with a total of 6$ profit right now! So if i would stop the trades now i would have won 7,10$! That would be 2% on a 350$ account

Have you changed the OOTB time settings to match your computer clock?

I`m using the latest version of changethecolor on a H1 TF
