The indicator sums the P/L of the Long positions and compares it to the P/L of the Short positions. If the Long P/L is > 0 and the Short P/L is < 0, then it will show "Long Strong". If they are both > 0 and the Long P/L is > Short P/L then it shows "Long Weak". Reverse for "Short Long"/"Short Weak".

Currently, the pairs change color to reflect whether they are in profit or not. Did you want to change those designations, or did you really want to color the text based on whether they are buys/sells?

I use to buy dips and sell rallies, all both with LIMIT orders and your tool is EXACTLY what I have been searching for !

PUT simply, it means buying at lower price and selling at higher price, so in business it's a good bargain !

Regarding your questions :

1) The pairs change color to reflect whether they are in profit or not. Did you want to change those designations ?
Why not GREEN for profit and RED for loss for example BUT if Brijon and others are agree.

2) Did you really want to color the text based on whether they are buys/sells?
It would be wonderful but I don't want to abuse....

The attached has the following color options:

extern color     BuyClr    = Green;     //color of buy pairs
extern color     SellClr   = Red;       //color or sell pairs
extern bool      UsePLColors=false;     //use different colors for +/- PL
extern color     ProfitClr = Green;     //Positive PL color
extern color     LossClr   = Red;       //Negative PL color

The UsePLColors options turns on the use of the separate colors for +/- PL. See example below:

The chart on the left has the option off, and the right has it on.

Remember, this is still the test version. Hopefully in a day or two I'll incorporate these changes into the main indicator.

IMO, it would be better to display not the + or - net sum of our basket but the ratio LONG P/L and SHORT P/L in order to really judge of the trend strength, but it's just an idea !

The profit column on the right is being controlled by the UsePLColors setting. I happened to have it on Red/Black for the example. It's a little confusing to use the same colors for both Buy/Sell and Profit/Loss. They eye (at least mine) expects them to line up if they are the same colors.

If you recall, the original intent of this was to simulate actually placing the orders. The P/L of the basket of trades was something you'd be looking at if you actually had entered the trades. The Long/Short designation was added based on the display of the orest indicator. I'm not sure how folks even use it.

YES you are right, it's a little confusing to use the same colors for both Buy/Sell and Profit/Loss, but it's really perfect and it runs like a charm !!

My only concern is the + or - Net sum of our basket.

I would have prefered a LONG P/L and SHORT P/L ratio in %, or in digit or all both to really judge of the trend strength. For example, the more the buyers are in profit and the more the sellers are in losses, the strongest the LONG trend is.

But it's just an idea......

Okay, I stop to bother you now, I too much hold the line with my scared English.....................
